  1. Yeha, they're not gonna weigh as much now dave
  2. Lovely looking rigs there. The only thing I feel lets down the vee-braked bike, is the vees that it is actually using. It looks like a no-name brake? other then that, very nice looking bikes, at extremely competitve pricing. However, I do love my t-comp:)
  3. And that was a weeny bit over the top. We've said our part, lets let him sulk, and then leave.
  4. Taking this a bit too far Dave . All the same, looks effin sweet

    Grinding

Me too. Never felt a need for anything more. If it's well set-up with even original pads and the pads are hitting square, they can be quite powerful
  6. And the war . If you have nothing constructive to add to the forum, scram.
  7. Exactly. No bike is invincible. I think you may have mis-interpreted the fact that this is primarily a competition bike, or you just like riding like a goon. In true NMC style, 'Hope this helps mate' Dean
  8. In never . You'd need a f**king big hill ha. All the same, beautiful vehicle
  9. Try-all rear hub Acs claw Try all 24T cranks ( the ones with the chainring welded on? )
  10. Exactly what we were talking about in the other topic.
  11. I'm very tempted to be a childish shit and scream 'Advertising' at the top of my voice. However, I do hear they are good boosters
  12. Agreed. As scopse has provided, your knowledge is clearly of no good to anyone. So dont moan about other people's. If this place is full of people you cant stand (who to me seem damn decent individuals), then it's simple, dont visit here again.
  13. Spot on. Maguras, despite what people thinking, are not designed for trials. I believe they actually started off as an XC brake. Magura in past years have realised the potential these brakes have for trials however and made slight modifications to the brake as a whole to cater for trials. For instance, Koolstop pads.

    .

Thats fair enough. Looks like new forks for you
  15. Hey chaz, we should ride on wednesday when my bikes sorted. I've told you, I'd rather improve drivetrain. Your freewheel skips like an underage schoolgirl. Buy a tensile, they're pretty ace, and you'll save yourself a few quid Edit : You'll need to go FFW and buy a fixed rear sprocket . Just realised bud Sorted : Onza screw on = tenner. Cranks = 52 quid Freewheel = 35
  16. If it was that easy just for him to look on Tarty, why did you bother helping him? This is a forum, people are perfectly entitled to ask for information. The sooner people get used to that, the better

I say scratch. Get some low grade sand paper or wet and dry, and give it a gentle sand off. Then take a closer look and a picture please
  18. 0-40? Very very late 20 seconds I would have thought? Looks like it'll be a while before it hits the top of it's RPM range however, if it ever does! He may wish to keep it as a show car. Gotta love classic vehicles Edit : Are these quite a desirable motor, very rare?
