  1. The green koxx blocks have a really fast wear rate, i've just ground my rim and started using the pads about 6 hours use and they are down to half of their size! they work pretty amasing though! regards ash :ermm:
  2. i personally found the monty foam grips to be very, very comfy, but after a prolonged period of use i usssually found that i got cramp, i found this due to the grips being so thin................................ therefore i decided to try the velo monty grips, since then my hands have been fine.................... regards ashley smith
  3. man, them chainstays look well to over built! same go's for the cnc union at the bottom bracket! looks well, though apart from that, they are quite light aswell, reagards ash (Y)

why not try going on the brisa website?
  15. i have personally never had any problems with the square taper interface on cranks, i use middleburns with a hope titanium bottom bracket, but then again im not very heavy, i have never rounded an interface, square taper on my middleburns but have on older model cranks, isis is o.k. but i have never had the need to move to isis, if i did then i would probably buy the tensiles, they are great value for money, well machined and the looks are great. regards ash
  16. one of my friends uses these on his trial bike, and to be quite honest i have found them to be rather crap, when compared to the minion model and the high rollers, they are quite heavy and the tread pattern is not as good as the other models made by maxxis, if i was you i would opt for the high rollers in a slow reezay compound regards ash

ive never had many problems with aluminium frames, ive used steel and to be hinset they feel 'dull' compared to aluminium, theyre also heavier and prone to rusting from the inside of the tubes if not correctly looked after, fair enough it is easier to weld, but 4130 cromo still needs heat treating, like aluminium, the only steel that doesnt need heat treating is t45 tubing, this would be great to make a frame out of regards ash :o

they are quite heavy, the hubs used in these wheels are shite and they do bend i wouldn't go near them with a 10ft barge pole (Y) reagards ash
  19. hardly huge, i was doing a similar job at work the other day, the machine is probably about 40 years old, and was hardly big, it was quite samll, an old french aciera miller with rotary table attached (Y)
  20. could have been made on a conventional milling machine with a rotoray table attatched, this way the radius could have been produced reagards ash (Y)
  21. that looks like a good job did you use a cnc milling machine to produce the profile of the booster? regards ash (Y)
  22. i have to agree with lee for the weight saved its pretty pointless for the strength lost (Y)
  23. this is quite simple to do if you have the machinery........... looks like there is no threads for the lockring for cassette body though...... might be wrong, but even so its quite easy to screw cut the threads  top job, as always thought of doing that myself
