has any one tried using a 2.5 wt fork oil, im considering using this due to the fact that mineral oil was making my pistons return too slowly............. due to my newer hope braided cable......... then when i bled with water it was lush.............. apart from freezing over whilst on a nite ride........... ash

the pass plus gave me nearly 400 quid discount ash

yes i have pass plus. the thing that i found best to do was keep ringing back, the first person quoted me £1700 at norwich union, then when i phoned back a day later they quoted me £1075 fully comp, also which i found weird was that for third part fire and theft the price was £1050 whcih means that i only payed £25 more to go fully comprehensive my car is not labelled as an sri, its labelled as one of the limited edition 1.4 8v corsa breeze in the 1997 to 2000 range, however it has the same engine as an 1.4 corsa sri out of the 1993 1997 models, as in the 1997 to 200 range ther was no sri models, they labelledthem corsa sports, now they have gone back to sri and sxi in the even newer corsa range ash

for my corsa 1999 1.4 8v i pay £1075 fully comp on my own policy as a 17 yr old, with norwich union ash

go for the steel, up intil recently i have used a hope titanium bb, however when i changed my frame i put i steel axle bb back in, it feels so much more responsive , whereas the ti, you could feel a considerable amount of flex ash

m6 x 1.00 is conventional threading size ash
-
the tapping drill for an m6 screw is 5mm, the tapping drill for a m5 thread is 4.2mm, when you say the stem bolts are 4mm do you mean that is the allen key size you are using? because if it is then the bolts is m5 thread, therefore you need to be drilling 5 mm and tapping m6, the m6 thread should hold a lot better due to the size although by the sounds of it you want to be tapping out to accommodate an m6 screw ash

i dont know what it is about that but i really dont like the look of that frame one bit.................. it may grow on me though, i thought the standard of the stock frames was a lot better ash
-
frame building is a lot harder than you think............... you cant just pick up a welder and weld tubes together... a jig is needed and if your planning on welding the frame yourselve, then you are going to want to TIG weld the frame, tig welders are very expensive................................. ours at work cost £5000, for a miller tig set ash
-
my stock rides sweet, i went for a quick ride last night, the control on the backwheel is unbelievable........ sidehops quite easy aswell ash
-
sounds good, count me in.................. ash

i got a maxxis high roller today, 2.35 wide and it seems well light ash
-
i think the best thing to do would be to ask phil from select.......... otherwise was there no assembly drawing included with the headset? cheers ash
-
i wouldnt mind coming to this event, it sounds good.............. where abouts is it based? im way up north at the land of hope............ thats my only issue if its down south, but the train sounds good as does a hotel cheers ash

dealers should be able to order them...........there in the trade book that goes out to dealers within the uk........'braking news' catalogue ash

the bush is just used to press the seal into the location, this will not be like this on the production versions :) ash

notice, i said 'almost' unheard of, and especially in 2 days............... the prices for the hubs will be around the usual price of £120 the pro 2 t hubs have 2 pawls engaging at a time, with 48 eps the pro 2 hubs have 4 pawls engaging at a time, with 24 eps the single speed hubs should be available without the disc mounts or with the disc mount, but that is still a prototype............ ash

i cant get a picture of the internals as of yet because if i take the cassetet body off, you need a special bush to replace the seal on these new hubs................ its a bit of a pain in the arse the internals are basically the same as a profile though.......... leaf spring design, this hasnt budged yet, my mate joe shepheard, hes a good rider, quite heavy and his pro 2 hasnt budged either, he was going through standard hope xc hubs in about 2 days, he even stripped the ratchet ring threads in a xc hub, which is almost unheard of.... the earlier designs, with the wrap around spring..... which i think wayne saw one of mine was absolutely crap, they skipped for fun and the ratchets on mine all broke..... but the new ones seem to be good, ive got one on my xc bike which is never going to break due to it doesnt get enough stress, the one on my trials bike is awesome, although they do need beddign in at first, you can feel the rathcte ring tightne within the hub shell.................. ash
