  1. hmm profile imitation.......... not........... the hope is a lot louder due to the springs being stiffer, works the same as a profile though ash
  2. try using the hope hose, its the dogs danglys, works really well on my hs33, quite a bit stronger than the standard plastic crap aswell ash
  3. r1 oww is this owen? ash i would believe him if i was you..............trust me you've just quoted the designer from hope........ the release date he meant was this week the 10th feb, also trust me on believing that the hub will not skip..........ive used one for 6 months with no skipping yet
  4. very impressed yet again mathew......i enjoy watching natural as well as street. the content of this vid was very good, also good to see some home territory being ridden, shame the trials park doesn't see mcuh action these days........all the riders seem to be disapearing... either that or the chavs taking over with there drug habits. we will have to ride there when you are back home matt great vid matt regards ash
  5. did anyone else know that xavi casas had been signed by koxx? Andorra rider Xavi Casas, current Expert World Champion, and Eurobikes.org have signed an accord with Koxx that will provide Casas of a promodel bike that will be called "K-SAS". The model in the picture is the prototype of these bike and Xavi is testing different geometries, angles and components that will conform the definitive bike. The bike will be available in 26 countries in early the new frame looks real nice, i will be interested to find out the geometry of the frame when its released link to page ash
  6. i'm deffo going to this trial, addingham is mint............ also less mud than oakworth... ash
  7. lol josh, il show you how to ride any day......... lol
  8. hahaha you ride a pink base......... il show you how to ride any day old chum ash
  9. at this moment in time i would say your best option is to weld a bar to the b/b cup, don't worry the heat wont damage the frame, it wont get hot enough, just a couple of tacks on either side of the bar should do, then try and lever it out. another tip would be to try the boiling water triack, it may help loosen the threadlock off good luck ash
  10. hahahaha gutted bittuie boy ................where did it snap? ash
  11. Take the frame to your local bike shop and get them to run the tap through the bottom bracket just to be safe, the last thing you want to do is strip the threads trying to force a bottom bracket in ash
  12. damn, why did my car get a puncture....... damn metal on the roads............. although i may try and pursuade my mate chris to ride there so i could scrounge a lift.......... hmmmmm..... ash
  13. so what your going to make a petition and take it to hope so they make mod versions of there hubs? i can't see hope doing that no matter how good it sounds ash
  14. Hope won't make a mod hub, there is not enough call for them.......... although they would be pretty sweet ash
  15. woops ignore my last post............... ive just been to check and the piston is 16mm in the hs11 and 14mm in the hs33, therefore making the hs33 s5% more powerful this is for the 06 lever the new hs11 lever, the older model had the same internals....... ash
  16. im pretty sure that they have the same size diameter pistons in the hs11 and the hs33 i thought the pistons sizes in the master cylinder and slave cylinders were all 14mm in diameter? ash
  17. hope wont make a mod hub, there is not enough demand ash
  18. the biggest size you can tap a standard hope axle is m6, a big plus for this thread is that there is no need for drilling of the axle, as the diameter already in the axle is 5mm which is coincidently the tapping drill size for an m6 tap, it is a common 'upgrade/modification' to do this to hope hubs................ at one point hope did send out hubs with m6 bolts in...... regards ash
  19. no we havnt had problems at hope, we've just been waiting on parts from suppliers, pawls, springs etc... i don't think your friend has had one............ i know all the lads who test them along with me the pro 2 is released now, the pro2t is out within the next couple of weeks, 1 week and six days if im correct ash
  20. contact sexymike or davetrials on here for majic pads, they are awesome.........some of the best pads i have seen, good power, lock well, good on a grind and excellent noise, ash
  21. what do you mean the new hub has had multiple problems? don't talk bullshit, you don't know about the testing, the hubs that are in production now have not had one problem, the earlier prototypes around 18 months ago had problems ash
  22. me, sexymike, dave and a couple of other lads are riding there this saturday, i think phils also going to come along ash
