  2. another nice video from you again matt loving skipton skatepark, just rode there tonight with ollie was awesome ash
  3. a hope xc axle will not fit a bulb and vice versa, the bulb has larger diameter bearings. why send it off to hope? axles are readily available from people like chain reaction cycles a lot less hassle that way regards ash
  4. the thing that you need is a shimano lockring tool thats what i use and it fits fine, the tool you are using is proabably one with a smaller bore...... the axle on the pro 2 t is a big boy around 15mm i think off top of my head tools are cheap as chips.............. ash
  5. hope do custom rotors for any size and shape, i.e. gothic, there around the £40 mark though........ ash
  6. yer was adam in the vid
  7. The bottom bracket thread is 1.37" x 24 t.p.i, as for the bore i am unsure, but if you are planning on making your own bb shell , it will be hard work due to having a left hand thread and the right hand thread, also theres a couple of ways of doing it, if i was to do it, i would bore the material to the correct size then i would screw cut the threads left hand and right hand......... the other option is to tap it, however, the taps that are readily available are for only cleaning threads, to get a tap that would cut material from scratch in that size would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack, however, like you said your best option is to get a frame and chop off the bb and headtube then just throw them in a lathe to clean off all the old weld and shite on the outer diameters regards ash
  8. pimping video there rick, loving my hair from last year on the start of the vid when we were in the van, hmm where has that hat got to..................... some good riding from skipton the other nite i see ash

  11. obviously not reet good aat turning then are you lol ash
  12. nice job, i did a few at work like that till i got caught lol, just out of interest how did you hold the bash, did you make a mandrel to fit the bore, or did you grip on the knurled part, as you havnt machinined there? what sort of lathe did you use? ash
  13. no trust me ive got a barrel here in my hand, the length of the body onto which the cogs sit is 24 mm long for the 6 speed version, the barrel on the 8/9 speed version is 35mm long which is the current iso , trust me i helped to develop this hub, there is ample enough room to get on 6 8 speed sprockets and spacers, if the lockring isnt reaching then use one with a longer thread, all mine have always fit ash
  14. 24 mm i know this for a fact trust me ash
  15. yes we use threadlock (the green one) to dismantle at rolls royce in our toolroom.......... even i was amased when i found out ash
  16. isnt the green threadlock meant to be good, we use it at rolls for dismantling things.............. ash

  22. the problem about pace forks being too long has now been resolved, when ordering your forks you can now order the legs to be cut to the required length, the only snag about this is that its costs £20 more than the retail price. ive often thought about fitting them to my bike but i cant deice wether or not i want to regards ash
  23. count me in,deer park for quite a while now, should be fun ash
  24. the brass barrels do wear, they go egg shaped, they are available from chain reaction cycles ash
