  1. Hey guys, after a gay afternoon, but i finaly got the video uploaded, it is on engodildo as trials shack is down, music is abit different to what is normaly used in vids, as i think punk rock style stuff gets used way to much. so here u go: Left click Any feedback welcome Music was "another place to fall" and "suddenly i see" by KT tunstall. Adam
  2. Well prawn has sumed it up very well, i have the 180mm version, and love it, even after about 4-5 hours of riding it is awsome, and i am sure it isn't fully bedded in yet. I would deffiantly recomend it. Adam

    Plymouth...

Ah, awsome dude, will get the vid up soon, it is made now, just need to upload it (Y) Adam
  4. AH, thanks guys, i was sligtly pissed off with it to say the least, oh well, we will see what happens. Oh, and Nicholas_sam, i would phone, but due to it being easter sunday, and a bank holiday tomorow, i was just curious to see what other people have experiecned with this problem. Adam
  5. Well today, i fell back and my bike landed arcwardly, and snapped the flange off on the non-drive side, only 1 spokes worth, i want to know if any body else has done this, and whether they have had it covered on warrenty. Thanks Adam

    Inner Tube

I agree with Aust on this, there is no need to run anything but a standard tube, especialy if u have a decent tyre, i run a maxxis high roller, about 20psi with a standard tube, i am 18stone and have not has a puncher since last summer (also touchs a huge lump of wood), but doing what Mike said is also a very good idea. Adam
  7. That one snapped becauxe of where the internal cable routing hole was, the new vincos do not have this hole. Adam

    Click Me !

Hmm, that is VERY smart, loving the forks, with the rear mounts, would that happen to be Sharns old frame? Adam
  9. Read abit further up, i have already answered this question  Adam
  10. Hmm, i think a mod stem would be abit to high for a 55mm bb rise, i mean the tarty proto, that had 85mm bb rise and didn't use a stem as high as a mod (correct me if wrong ads or dave) I think maybe a 25deg or sumet not 100% sure Ok, after a little play on a calculator, using my 120mm 5 deg stem, worked out what angle would be required for a 120mm lenght stem, that was 60mm higher to compensate for the BB rise, it worked out at slightly over 30 deg: 120 tan 5 = 10.5mm so 120mm length, say 60mm higher to compensate: INV tan (70.5/120) = 30.4 degrees, I think that is right. Adam
  11. Righty then, just found these on OTN, the new echo team, back in 2 lengths again: New "Hi-Fi" 26inch 55mm BB rise, 1080mm WB: I think they look nice, but like they have tried to go for the XTP look, obviously, but not been able to afford the full CNC brake mounts, and just went for an in-built booster, oh well, see what they are like once they are releaced. Adam
  12. Well, just ordered it, so after a week or so, i will give a little review :S Adam
  13. Different Forks Matt, I have fattys now :S Has know body got one of these on the forum, dave only has one left :D Adam
  14. Sounds like it was an awsome weekend, is this the drop u are refering to wayne? Adam
  15. Seeing that Tartybikes now have the 180mm version of the Hope trial brake, i was just wondering if anybody has one, and what their experiences of it are, as i am hoping to get one very soon and just want to know how it compares to the Avid 185mm and the "normal" 160mm hope trial. Thanks Adam
  16. That was a cool vid Dave, i enjopyed watching it, looks like we both are about similar skill wise, hopefully i should have a vid up during the easter holidays, once i get my b*****d camera back. Adam
  17. I am wanting to make some VCD's, and just wondering what the best program is, and where i can find it. Thanks Adam
  18. Yeh, they are abit thin James, as the the making process, i had to do it with a bunch of saws and files, took a while, but i am happy with the finnish, could do with abit more finnishing, but it will do for now. once on the bike i could see that IMO it is slightly to high, but it seems to be good, but it is abit hard to judge on the bike that it is fited to at the moment, due to dan having soft tarty pads and a 12mm magura master cylinder which inturn makes an uber squishy brake, i will have a better idea of its stiffness when it is fitted to a mates BT on the weekend, as he has a standard magura master cylinder. Some more pics: Adam
  19. Just thought i would show iu guys my carbon fibre booster that i have just finished making for my DT coursework, here is the CAD drawing for the booster: And after fianaly getting my act together i have layed the carbon fibre and cut out the final shape, and it looks loverly, shame i can not fit it onto my bike because of it being a 4 bolt booster, oh well, i am sure i can find someone to test it, Final product: Hope u like Adam
  20. I am not bothered about the £25, i mean, like alot of people have said, tis nothing for such good cranks, i think mine are quite old, i am not 100% sure, as i got them off cultivated Chris, last spring somtime, and i dunno how long he had them for. Well, they have been sent off, so hopefulyl a new set will be here by the weekend. Hmm, maybe, but i am not a harsh rider at all, well not to my knowlege, i consider my self a smooth rider for my size, and i don't do big drops etc, so i dunno, ah well, not to worry. Adam
  21. No, i am not complaining, i was just curious as to other peoples experiences, i expect i will pay the £25 as to just have one replaced and keep the old haggered old one, would look abit shite. adam
  22. Righty then, i snapped my RS7's at the weekend, so today i rang them up and asked about replacements, they said that they would replace the snapped one, but if i wanted a new pair i would have to pay £25 towards them, have any of u had to pay this to get both replaced, or have u just been sent a brand new pair free or charge? Adam. ps: did u ask to change the lengths of cranks or not, as i want some 170mm instead of 175mm.

    20" Coust.....

It is an old Onza prototype frame, that was to short for any "normal" person to ride, so they whacked some coust stickers and gave it to Ashley butler, who apparently is a little beast. Adam
  24. I agree with Sam on this, as will alot of other people, the Onza carbon bars are the shiznit, i changed to them when my brisas were hurting my wrists, and will never turn back from them, awsome bars, super light, yet still uber strong, only thing is the price, at £53 they are abit pricey, although i got mine new for £30 hehe Adam
  25. I did not get mine warrentied, because GAY street would never answer there phone, but i am sure that it would come under warrenty, I just went and brought a pair of fatty R's again, as they are awsome forks, with a much betetr design of disc mount. Adam
