I agree with ali all the way, when i had a mich on the back, it didn't feel as nice as the maxxis, the michelin feels dead, where as the maxxis has a nice bouncy feel to it, I didn't feel that it gripped as much as the maxxis either. If i were u Tom, i would go for the maxxis for deffiante, i have used them now for about 1.5 years and never had a problem with them, pinch protection is awsome too, i don't think i have had a pinch in my rear tyre now for over 6 months, and being the bigman that i am, and only running around 25psi, i think that is pretty amazing :blink: Adam PS: get a SR minion, best out of them all.

Untill it rains, and they plaz pads realy do suck, they don't realy work well in wet at all, amazing pads in the dry, as long as there is no dust. Personaly, i think i would go with koxx bloxx, i have just been running plaz, and at dusty comps they just lose all power, and end up slipping (causing major back pain :huh: :D ) and in the wet, u can just forget u have a back brake. I am heading to Harper Adams University college, in shropshire to study a Bsc in Off Road Vehicle Design, then hopefully topping up to the full Beng, Harper is new Newport in shropshire, so quite central. Get control forks Tom, they are so much nicer than either, lol, yet still realy light, mine come out to around 780g with vee mounts still on, and a cut down steerer, plus the controls have the beasty disc mount, unlike the older pures, or the new KOT forks, plus, why any one want forks longer than 400mm is beyond me :sleeping: Adam

Dunno how many people will see this, who are from down this far, lol, but Martin Ashton is doin a demo in truro on wednesday the 17th, i will at truro around 1:30 ish, on lemon quay where the demo is, hopefully gunna have a little ride around afterwards, dunno who will be therer, but i think i am taking Rob C with me, to watch, will probs take the Video cam with me too.
