    New Frame

Could always go with a IOLO and have the geometry you want Um, for an MBK i would probably run something like a pazzaz stem, something with a bit of rise to compensate for the BB rise, have a look on tartybikes, there is a pic of Stans on there Adam
  2. Actualy Ash it is possible, and has been done.......... I seem to remember Edd Potts cutting down and machining a hope Xc to fit mod wheel spacing, but then again he does have all the skills and neccasary tools to do such a job (lucky bugger). in the real world i supose Ash is right, but there is realy no point, as a profile mini cassette hub is one of the most reliable mod hub ever, you can get a King BMX hub which will fit a mod but these are expensive, but now there are alot more reliable screw on freewheels, such as the ENO trials and Tensile freewheel Adam
  3. hmm, unfortunatly a vid may have to wait until the autumn as when i finish Uni i will only be at home for a week or so, it might be time to get a small vid sorted, we shall see, but after that week i will be working on a farm for 9-10 weeks over the summer (£260 a week, plus overtime at £8 ish ) so i think riding may be the last of my priorities Ah well, hopefully i wil be getting a DV camera for my birthday so in the autumn i will have the time and ability to make a new vid Adam

    New Frame

Unfortunatly i never measured the reach on my BT6, but in my oppinion any frame with a BB higher than 30mm idealy wants to have 380+ stays to compensate for the higher BB.... I found my BT6 to be realy good for things that required rear wheel balance, for example sidehops, wheelswaps (pigeons) etc but for tapping or any thing where you are pedaling up something it is horrid..... How about an MBK, Stan has been raving about his, 1100 wheelbase, 35mm bb rise, 385mm CS, 27.25 inch reach, so still less than your current frame, they are pricey at £400 but you do get a can of touch up paint If you do like the idea of a BT6 or any high BB frame make sure you have a decent try on one before you purchase and do not go on initial impresions of it being good on the back wheel, try tapping or something Adam
  5. Rear vee has Koxx green materail, seems to work very well!! Hopefully gunna get the cranks changed on warrenty, as the ISIS tapers are slightly fooked too Adam

  15. Right, after a harsh uni term i am VERy short of money, i i have sold the ashton frame as it was the only thing i had that could get me some ££ and then bought a BT5 for cheap to keep me going, here it is: [attachmentid=5063] [attachmentid=5064] [attachmentid=5065] Spec: BT5 frame BT F6 forks FSA orbita headset Cannondale stem 120mm 5deg Zoo bars Rear CK on DX32 Front hope XC on DX32 Rear Dewhore vee with XTR lever, clarkes cable (will do for now), XTR booster with Koxx green pads Fron Avid BB7 with SD5 lever Middleburn RS7's with 20t bash and chainring So there, hope u like Adam
  16. Does somebody want to upload somewhere else, koxx site don't seem to be working at the moment Adam
  17. arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggg the download has frozen 3 times for me, i hate my college connection for this lets try again....... Adam
  18. That was with an 18t though Ali, u might squeeze a 20t in with a 118 but it would be VERY close try the 122.5 see how it goes....... Adam
  19. I think in a control it would be tight with a 122.5mm, it would be best of getting a 128mm one 68mm shell remember too Adam
  20. I will soon have Rear vee with heatsink backings running a DX32, would be good to see how they work on a vee brake yes SO if so i would only need some compound to stick into backings Adam
  21. Ah, but Charlie that was just for the quote, the bike will probably vary slightly from that spec. Adam
  22. I supose i could wish Inur happy birth day Adam Oh go on, Happy Birthday Mike too
  23. I have to say that i have drilled pretty much all my rims myself and i have never had any trouble with them, i have only ever killed one and that was because it was a realy shoddy build. I run DX32's front and rear with 25mm holes in the front rim and 22m holes in the rear. I drill then using a small pillar drill so that the rim fits around it, clamp it in the vice on the adjustable table thing and drill away, no centre punching required realy as long as you get the rim flat in the vice Adam
  24. This is an Awsome portfolio, Rob showed me it on his computer the other week, alot of time and effort has gone into making it and it realy shows!! Adam
  25. The hub will not be threaded, you will want a Tap for a M6 thread, i did mine about 2 years ago, much better than a QR as with the QR when i used my stupidly powerfull avid it pulled the whell out the dropouts where as with the bolts i have had no problems Adam
