This sounds VERY tempting, but the problem is that i would have to try and book a week off work, and what with me just starting it may be difficult, but i may try. Just thinking also that i am sure i read somewhere that you have to be over 21 to drive in europe..... Adam

Hey hey peoples Tomorow i am moving into my new house down in coventry and have not been out on my bike for a while so may venture into town in the afternoo, probably around 3-3.30ish... If anybody is intersted please call or txt me on 07970176556 as i will not be abl to get onto the internet before then. Where to meet, i would guess at the motor museum at the bottom of town, near the bus station, i think that is relitively central and there is some good riding near there. Adam

Echo Control '07 Or Gu Typhoon '06

Don't worry, control forks are awsome forks, i would prefer to run them than zoo forks, any of these forks with the CNC crown are too stiff in my oppinion, which can make tapping harder as the forks do not flex as much (I belive Ash Kennard had this trouble with his forks) also the controls are alot lighter Adam -
Hey Guys If anybody is going to the royal show on sunday make sure they come and say hello at the Harper Adams University stand, i will be there for most of the sunday where i will also be doing random little demo's with the human powered offroad vehicles that we built for our project. I should have weighed my DX32 front rim when i squared that, did it about a month ago Started the rear but got bored after 10 holes Adam PS: The XTP pictured was the prototype V-racing, and Vinces boxx is loverly, only thing i would change would be for a front disc...

I had a little play on this the other day and i have to say it is an awsome game, We did have a wheel setup for it and i feel for normal racing etc it makes it SOOOO much easier, takes a while to get used to the feel of the pedals etc though. When we got bored we setup a drift car, and trying to use the steering wheel to drift was abit of a bugger, so we switched back to the controller which made it one hell of alot better! My first go they put me in the benntly (sp?) mega car thing on the nurberg ring, it did not go so well , so decided to go for sumet reasonably simple like the subaru and it went alot better Adam

Yeh, i would trust my vee more than any magura! Surely if it works for me, 120kg of pure beast i will work for everybody..... Adam
-
When you are around 120kg (me) hold becomes a very large issue!! Adam
-
I recently put a magura on the rear of my bike after runninga vee since christmass, and i have to say the only thing i prefered over the vee was the bite of the magura, it had NO hold compared to the vee and the feeling was not as nice, if i were you don't be so much of a weight weenie, i mean your bike is super light any hoo and stick with the vee, it will own a magura for hold etc any day! I have put my vee back on the rear now, soooooo much better! Adam

Am i the one of the very few people who have made a my own tensioner and that still has it working? mine is working still and beautifully at that! have to say that it is the bets thing i have ever made for my bike! Adam

The problem is that in cornwall there isn't realy the numbers of riders that you would find in other areas of the UK, i am from Falmouth but due to university etc i am very rarely down there. Also from what i have gathered many of the riders in cornwall are very wide spread, as i see you are from bude and i am aware that there are a few riders in the bude area, there are a few riders in the st-austell area, which is a fair way from bude and then the only other riders that i can realy think of are way down at hayle and st ives, so trying to do a weekly meet would be very hard, plus the transport links in cornwall are not exactly brilliant, especialy as most of the riders are not able to drive. Like has been said a SS king hub does come with a HD axle, but i would not get one! ss kings have a small casette body that is made of alu, thus meaning your HAVE to run a wide based cog, also as a few people have found due to the soft alu the helical splines which make the whole hub work can deform slightly and thus make them skip (Prawns is doing this currently) I am not realy a fan of ProII hubs either if i am honest. I would recomend that you get either a CK ISO or Classic with a stainless steel drive shell and a HD axle, i have been running the same classic hub with hd axle and ss drive sheel for the past 3.5 years ish and would never use a different hub!
