  1. Nope, small syringe is the lever, big syringe would be the pistons. Have you ever realy done any engineering theory? I do know what i am talking about, as does Adam. EDIT: One fairly good example actualy would be between the standard hope mono mini and the mono trials, both brakes use the mini lever, which if i am correct uses a 9mm cylinder, in a standard mono mini the pistons are around 20mm diameter where as in a mono trials they are around 25mm, and we all know which is the more pwerful brake, but as i said earlier, the mono trials, because of this would be slightly more spongey and would require the pads to be closer to the disc to get the same lever movement. 2. Google maps, Matlock entrance For anybody who needs directions. Adam
  3. Thanks to Fatmike: another: Adam
  4. No, making the brake cylinder bigger will make it more powerfull, but it will mean that if it is run with a magura lever for example you would need to set the brake up closer to the rim, anybody remember RB levers that had a 13mm piston instead of the magura 14mm, brake was more powerfull, but more spongey and you had to set the pads closer to the rim. 5. Aspire Velo tech can get shell's i think. I have a 36h blue discotech with the disc adapter that i would possibly sell....... Adam
  6. I will see what i am up to, might come..... Adam

    Zhi News

I like the way that they have tried to get the vee pivot as close to the lower 4 bolt mount as possible! Adam
  8. OOOOH YES, If i caught some f**ker doing that in any of my fields the 12 bore would be saying hello Adam
  9. Are you refering to me? If so i doubt you would kill my bike in a matter of days, you have to remember that i am just over 19st, so even if i am smooth the bike still has to cope with alot of weight landing on it! Like someone has said previously, i have a light bike but i have not skimped on the components. But back to the Trialtech forks, i think they look awsome, the disc mount looks much improved over the atomz one, and hopefully with the modification that has been made to the steerer they will not crack like my atomz ones did (before anything says "oh you cracked them" they lasted me over 8 months which is longer than any set of the recent deng forks have lasted me) Adam
  10. Could you put the wheel in straight and cetral etc and then get us some pictures please? Adam
  11. Looking at that i would also say that the hub doesn't look straight in the frame, in the top pic it looks like the non drive side is further up the dropouts than the drive side..... Adam

    Pad Reviews

No, no you can't. Magura blacks do not work on a grind, but they are bareable with tar, there are loads of other pads that don't work on a grind, you could say that zoo's don't work on a grind because they wear down too quick.... Anyhoo, this argument could go on for ever, and i realy can't be arsed. Adam

    Pad Reviews

The would work well, doesn't matter if you have a good grind, a dead grind or a smooth rim, soon as you add tar your brake will work! It is not realy possible to say a pad works well when you are running tar..... I am running koxx browns at the moment on a light grind on a koxx rim and i LOVE them, seriously good pads, loads of hold, nice and bitey. Adam
  14. Love it!! I have had a play on a few of these and they ride sooooo well for a mod! Adam
  15. Engine: Diesel Size: 1.9 Model: Audi A4 1998 Estate Driving Conditions: City+Country+motorway Combined MPG: Around the 50 mark (Engine has been re-mapped to just under 150Bhp too) Rated MPG (manufacture) : dunno Comments: It is not to bad, the city driving does sort of kill it abit, but at the moment i am doing a fair amount of motorway miles, sitting at around 75ish and that helps. Adam
  16. I would put money on the trialtech's lasting longer than Zoo's! my atomz forks which are fairly similar lasted much longer than any of the recent deng forks i have run! (Unless you were being sarcastic Grant) Adam

Glad everybody is liking the vid, i agree maybe i should have filmed abit more of myself, but hopefully will start working on a new vid soon. I am currently working on a slightly better quality (hopefully) version, still trying to get used to all this compressing lark...... Adam

    Kernow Days 08

Went home for the weekend last week with the idea of riding some natural and maybe some street, Stan Shaw and Ali C tagged along (6hr drive for them!!) and we got some realy good footage. Obviously this is the vid from the weekend, it was my first time editing with premier and using a compressor etc but hopefully it looks ok, i think it could be abit better quality and if i get a chance after work i shall sort a slightly better version. I have currently uploaded to Vimeo, if people have problems watching on thier site i recomend that you download it. If i get a chance i will try and put it on Tv.isg Kernow Days 08 (Vimeo) Enjoy Adam

    Video Editors?

I forgot to mention i must also be able to capture the footage from my video camera, can't seem to get Virtual dub to capture from it.... Adam
  21. Right, up until now i have been editing my vids on movie maker, and it has done me well considering, but recently i have been having trouble with it and it is starting to annoy me alot. Are there any other editors that are simple to use, i know alot of people will suggest Adobe but i have heard that it can be abit difficult to use? Are there any others? Thanks Adam
  22. Righty, Stan, Ali and I shall be getting to plymouth between 10 - 10.30 hopefully, will be starting at copthorne and working our way through, if anybody comes and can not find us give me a call on 07970176556 Adam
