Seeing the pictures, it makes me curious as to why you only had the outer wall CNC'd? why not do the inner wall too and get the full square hole effect? After all with a milling machine/cnc machine it is not had to work it a little deeper and take out both walls at once? Adam

Yeh but they only had a small scoop taken out of the rim whihc would not have taken that long compared to cutting a full sized square hole. Can i also ask the onza guys,: Why have you gone to 49mm wide for the rear rims? is there realy a need for them to be 2mm wider than the current hog rims as it is hard enough for people to set thier brakes up in frames with 47mm wide rims? And yes i know they "could" run tensile mounts to be able to push the brake out further, but then you either hit the cylinders with the cranks OR you pads hit the inside of the frame and you can not move the cylinders out further. Like has been said, there is no reason why not to drill your own rims, i have done LOADS of rims, i use a pillar drill and the holes are usualy as good as the ones that come in rims bought with holes! Adam

You realise that most modern engines will actulay use less fuel if you leave it in gear whne running down to a junction? (Thanks Topgear) It makes sence in the fact that the engine does not need the fuel to keep it spinning as when rolling to a junctiuon in gear the wheels are effectively keeping the engine turning and thus the fuel input is reduced (i assume) I may be completely wrong, but it makes sence in my head. Front rim does look a little silly, but he could still get another hole in there, move the valve hole to where the join is and then put abig hole where the valve was Adam

Personaly i would go for a full HD classic or ISO, if you buy from aspire it has the fun bolts and stainless drive shell included. I would make this choice because with the single speed you get an aluminium drive shell, the helical drive splines are incorperated into the drive shell and i have heard about the alu helical splines deforming and causing skipping etc. Adam
