  1. I am also trying a rubber queen on the rear at the moment, i have yet to ride any natural with it, just street but i realy like it, grip seems good, as ali said it is very bouncy which is nice for static moves, sidewalls are abit thin, but i am running it with a freeride tube and have no troubles, although i have only ridden it for 3 - 4 days, i will give a better oppinion once i have ridden it abit more. Adam
  2. The DX32 did not die, but it was not in the best of states The front is an echo 06 rim with large square holes and the rear was a trialtech undrilled that had 27 x 32mm square holes milled out, but i folded the rear today which was rather annoying! Adam
  3. Best thing to do would be to get some pictures and put a full specification of the bike here, it is then possible to see where you can alter things to make it lighter Adam
  4. It is not a free replacement at the moment, it all depends on what koxx say about my frame. On the "not my best vid" bit, i was not planning on it beign a proper vid, just a few clips of me getting used to the new frame Adam
  5. I found a crack in it Adam
  6. Title: Bigman Ozonys First Ride Duration: 01:06 minutes Trials-Forum Video -> Full View • Download • Upload Summary One of the first rides on the XR26, thought i would film a little.
  7. As has been said, i will be around and riding no doubt, 07970176556, gimem a txt anytime Adam
  8. 2 layers of Parcel tape, as as i am running in the rear, it is perfectly fine. Adam
  9. Awsome vid there Mr Pearson, i think i am going to have to try some of those lines soon...... Adam
  10. Looks as if there are threaded holes from the front of the dropout so there will be a bolt through them that pushes the wheel back, and MUCH better idea than snail cams i recon! Adam
  11. I took it for a ride last night, feels loverly, slightly more managable than the coust i think as the wheel base is a little shorter, currently loving it! No, i could not be bothered with that any more, they were to slow replying to e-mails and stuff so i thought bugger it The crack was at the end of the weld on the downtube/toptube gusset. (See Patts for sale thread, his has a crack in the same place.) Adam
  12. Well last week i found a crack in my Koxx Coustellier V2 so i needed to sort a replacement, and the XR26 is it! Pics: Spec: Ozonys XR26 frame Koxx forks FSA headset Rear CK classic on Trialtech rim with home milled square holes, Alu nipples and maxxis minion tyre (for the moment) Front Viz hub on echo 06 rim home milled square holes, alu nipples and Try All tyre Magure Hs33 rear, 4 finger lever, koxx browns, Echo mounts and 2 bolt RB booster Hope mono trial 190mm, carbon lever blade (soon to have magura SL rotor) Try-all 170mm cranks, trialtech bash and sprocket Trialtech M12 BB, alu bolts TMS 135 x 25mm Stem Trialtech Bars Welgo MG1 pedals Trialtech Foam Grips. Got to add a BIG thanks to the tarty crew for sorting it out for me Adam
  13. I think the idea behind the continuous weld around the crown of the forks is to spread the stress around the fork, as the top of the 4 bolt mount is where most forks crack. Adam
  14. Glad everyone likes them, just to clear it up, you will NOT be able to buy rims the same as this, i took an 06 echo front and trialtech undrilled rear and stuck them in my grandpa's milling machine, I have built the front today onto my Viz front hub and alu nipples, got a try all front tyre and a std tube and i have to say it is a rather light wheel! Realy looking forward to getting a bike built up with these wheels!!! I cracked it, same place where Patt cracked his, at the end of the weld on the downtube/headtube gusset, currently on its way to Tarty for inspection, hopefully it should be replaced on warrenty. Adam
  15. Just thought i would show u guys my new rim set, will let you guess what they are: Weights are 483g front and 614g rear. Going to be building them up ready for my new frame which should be sorted soonish, as i seem to have cracked the coust, fortunatly i cought it within warrenty, just waiting on Koxx to verify it..... Adam
  16. The echo levers have exactly the same piston size as the magura's (may have already been said) but the lever blades are slightly longer so theoreticaly you do get a little more power because of that. And as has already been said they have been known to leak...... Adam PS: I have an 08 lever blade for sale if u wanted to try one....
  17. I see you found Ships and Castles Looks good dude, can't wait to get back! Adam
  18. I am hoping my rear wheel is going to be rideable, cracked spoke holes is not handy, and i doubt i till get my new rims ready in time.... Adam
  19. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT, Beta's rule, I used to have the 97 techno, the purple one, awsome bike, was soo much fun, wish i didn't sell it now Adam
  20. 16 - 14 is about the perfect gear ratio!! 16 - 13 will feel very hard, what length are the cranks? as that will make a difference too. Adam
  21. You have enough time to say you can't work monday...... Adam
  22. Does look awsome, and it rides very well too (i had a go when Adam had it) Yes the booster is there to stiffen up the rear end abit, i think if you put a 4bolt one on it would be even better to stiffen it up, KOT's are known to be abit flexy. Adam
  23. This i feel is abit of a bugger with horizontal dropouts, i have been riding my coustellier with 18 - 15 which it is designed to run for the past 5 months but recently felt like trying 18 - 16, which does not work in the dropouts, as it is either to far into the dropouts and the wheel does not turn as it is up agains the yoke, or it is out the back of the dropouts so i have had to make a tensioner to run it. I seem to prefer the gearing too, so in my oppinion horiontals are good to the extent where you don't plan on changing anything like gear ratio etc, when you start altering that you get messed up, if i ever change the coust i am going to be going for something with vertical dropouts deffinatly as it give you the option to do whatever you want with regards to gear ratio's etc. Adam
