  1. You can get a 2.5 highroller as I have one on my 24inch, but they are VERY rare! I also have a 2.5 swampthing super tacky in the cupboard too, prefer the highroller! I am alo running a DMR Moto digger 2.1 on the front, seems ok for street, not ridden any natural yet though. Adam
  2. Wicked Vid Pat! Some wicked lines in there! Adam
  3. I love it! Don't mind the graphics really, but LOVE the colour, If I could afford one I would consider it, although its a shame that you need to have short rake forks to make the wheel base somewhere reasonable, Adam
  4. I didn't actualy say anything about whether they should try them in a different position did I, I just mentioned that they seem very far forward, it just looks strange! Adam
  5. Some pretty serious riding in that vid! Although I am going to get in early and say, What is going on with the bar angles on those bikes, Jacks seem SO far forward its crazy!! Adam
  6. First thing is what tyre are you running now? The maxxis tyres are generaly very good at stopping punctures, however if you still ride like a tank they will still pinch, it might also help to try and ride smoother, I have ran very light weight tyres before and managed to not puncture them, and I am around 19st! Adam
  7. I agree with all of this ^^^ I ran a big betty, then a swampthing and am now running a dual ply highroller 2.5 (VERY hard to find!!) weight wise the highroller and std tube was the same weight as the swampthing with a HD tube (Which was needed realy) and the highroller is soooooo much better than the swampthing, even with the same compound! I am not saying the swampthing was bad though, it was better than the big betty, more grip and more stable. and as it happens, I actualy have a brand new maxxis swampthing 2.5 slow reezay for sale, £30 posted Adam
  8. It looks good and respect for making something that looks as smart as that! But looks to me that if you have Echo slaves or run magura slaves pushed right in towards the mounts that there may be very little space for the cross over fittings to clear and allow enough room for good routing. Adam
  9. I am running the 165mm stem on my 24inch and LOVE it! it feels spot on for me and I am 6ft4! Adam
  10. Damn you Craig! Was just about to say that the fact they are calling it "brake fluid" sounds like its most likely a DOT type fluid, and therefore bad for maguras! Water is fine, I am using the coolant we use for diggers at the factory where I work, and its working well, possibly better than my last water bleed! Adam
  11. I will come along if the weathers ok. Adam
  12. I may have gone abit crazy buying 24inch maxxis tyres on ebay, managed to get a 24 x 2.5 super tacky high roller, a 24 x 2.5 super tacky swampthing and a 24 x 2.5 slow reezay swampthing, When they arrive I will have a play with a these and see which suits me better, will likely end up selling atleast one of them..... I am running a big betty at the moment, grips ok but its not particularly stable on off camber, so looking forward to trying a maxxis! Adam
  13. Glad to hear your getting on with your 24 Tom, I love my echo, deffinately feel comfortable riding it, and thats me at 6ft4! i am running a mod stem though! I have only ridden street on it yet, can't wait to get on some natural. I have had to alter some techniques abit, I couldn't tap it at all, so re-learnt straight pedal ups, which has given me more confidence for upping walls than I had on the 26inch. When i was still in contact with Rockman they said they were making a 24inch and were going to send me one, but I have not heard anything since around august! Adam
  14. It will fit without the extra 2 links! join it up and take off the crank, put it over the freewheel/sprocket and then put the crank on, its pretty tight, but it will go on! Thats exactly what i am running on my echo 24 at the moment, it has stretched abit now so removal is easier. Adam
  15. Sorry, but I had to turn that off after 30seconds, the green flashing was messing my head up! Adam
  16. Would love to, but I have a trial on sunday and my motorbike is now where near ready yet!! Adam
  17. Bleedy Hell Steve! That a pretty nasty bail, I know how high it is to come down off that wall! Nicely done at the end though! Give me a shout next time you ride cov, I am only 10mins away from there! Adam
  18. Not neccesarily! I have had many loud brakes that have been shite! and Loads of silent brakes that I would trust more than anything! But back to the first question, its pad and rim setup, different pads and rims (whether ground or not) will make different sounds, I don't go on sound at all any more, I just ride whatever works best, although I will admit that at the moment my current setup is one of the loudest I have used, and it does work VERY well! although I would love to have a silent brake again! Adam
  19. I am driving down from the midlands, and then driving back home to cornwall after the ride.... Adam
  20. I would imagine 10.30 - 11 at copthorne, I am hoping to get there a little early as I have to leave quite early so that I am not too late getting back home to falmouth. Adam
  21. The geometry is completely variable, when I was looking into getting one built the frames were custom geometry, so I would imagine that the riders have the geo that they want! Adam
  22. I looked into getting a Hoffmann frame a few years ago, I would love to have one, some very good ideas on the frames, especialy the magura mounts! Adam
  23. Wicked vid matey, we will deffinately have to get out and ride some spots when I am home over christmas, even if I am only there for just over a week...... Adam
  24. Damn you Paul! Wish you had posted earlier as I would have come in!! Adam
