Few changes since the last pics. First off all I folded my loverly square hole rear rim so i have a new atomz rim with 28mm holes instead of the 25mm that are in the try-all rims, also took a drill to it the other day. Also decided to give a front magura a go, managed to pay £11posted for a mono lightweight hub and £14 posted for a set of 4 bolt pashley forks and £25 for the front magura, so quite cheap realy, and currently i am realy liking it, abit more hold than the disc, only down side is the small amount of noise. Pics: Spec: Ozonys XR26 frame Pashley 4 bolt forks TMS 135mm x 25deg stem Trialtech bars FSA internal headset Front mono lightweight radial lacing onto custom square holed echo 06 rim with Try all front tyre Rear CK classic (Turquoise) laced to atomz rim with 7mm holes drilled at each spoke with maxxis high roller tyre, trialtech 16t cog, carbon fibre spacer kit and alu lock ring Try all 170mm cranks, trialtech single side bash, 18t trialtech sprocket Custom push up tensioner Front and rear HS33, 4 finger lever blades, koxx blues rear and greens front, modded echo 4 bolt clamps and 2 bolt RB booster on rear, drilled magura 4 bolt clamps front Welgo MG1 magnesium pedals Titanium and alu bolts in places. I am not sure on the exact weight at the moment, might weigh it at some point...... Adam

I think that Kyle and myself (maybe ginger wayne) may head to brum on sunday, anybody wishing to join us is welcome. I expect we shall meet in victoria square at around 11am Thanks Adam

I found the 4 finger lever blade to be MUCH better than the standard blade, more comfortable and more power, only thing it would be a little more spongey due to the extra length, but i stuck a 2 bolt booster on my frame and it solved that, after running a vee, which has mega hold i would say that the magura with a 2 bolt booster and a 4 finger lever has equaled the vee! and it has more bite which is a bonus! Can somebody PLEASE give us some dates, how am i ment to know when it is if people are just saying half term, i go to uni, we don't have half terms!!!!!!!!!!!! Adam
-
Would not work on a trials bike as looking at the design the only thing that holds the adapter to the frame is the force of the brake whem slowing the bike down forwards, if you were to rol backwards the adapter would just move! Adam

Give us some dates so we know when please, alot of us don't have half term holidays!! I will most likely come.... Adam

Here is where people need to head if u have not been there before: Lee Quarry Adam

Heading up for around 11 tomorow, If we all meet down at the bottom of the lane, then we can head up to the quarry. Anybody wants to get hold of me my number is 07970176556 I have had a phone call from stan, and he is not sure if he is going to be coming yet due to hurting his wrist/hands today at the shipley group. Adam

Yeh, that would be cool, I would be looking to leave around the 9am mark, as it is roughly a 2hr drive up there, thanks for the offer of sharing driving, but it is only 2hrs, nothing to mega. As for the riding, there is LOADS of stuff there, varying from realy small stuff to mega silly stuff, so you will be fine Adam
-
Yeh if u want dude, how would you get to newport? Adam
-
Yup, should be a good ride, quite looking forward to it! Adam
-
How about Lee Quarry? I would be up for that, was considering entering the Shipley comp but i need to save money Adam

Yeh, I don't understand it, this is an AWSOME vid, some very good riding in there!!! Adam

Echo Cnc 'maggie Like' Back Brake Problem
Bigman replied to nrees16's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I have heard that the first batch of echo brakes had a problem where the inside of the master cylinder was not cleaned properly after machining, leaving bits of swarf in the brake, they were then filled with oil and when used the master cylinder will pick up the swarf and cause the scratchs in the cylinder, when run with oil there would be only a small leak, but if ran with water because it is thinner it would leak easier. As has been said, try to smooth out the inside of the cylinder with some very fine wet and dry paper, maybe stick some new O-rings in and see how you go Also, can you see where the water is leaking from? Is it actualy the lever? Adam -

I found with my Rubber Queen i had to run a little more pressure, i normaly run the maxxis tyres at around 20psi, but i have had around 25psi in the conti, I will hopefully have my rear wheel built again tomorow so will be able to give more riding, i shall report back.... Adam

Perhaps an Onza Reggie, They are double walled and last very well, even when the holes get drilled out bigger (Prawn did this) slightly wider than a D521 at 32mm, worth a look i recons. Adam

Nope, it is still lighter, as the free ride tube is only a little thicker than a std tube, just with a little more air volume, meaning it does not stretch as much. Yes for a few rides, and had no troubles pinch wise...., but my rim tape wasn't up to the job of the large holes and split, which then gave me a flat, so it was not a pinch, i put the free ride tube in just "to be safe" as i would rather not get a pinch.......
