You do know that Tribal Zone is not a shop Jonny? Its and online magazine which provides a huge resource to trials riders around the globe, I know most of it is in french but there is always plenty of pictures of new bikes/parts etc! Sorry to say it to you Jonny but stop being a dick, it is not much just to click on one link, look at the pics then close it again, you make it sound like you had to walk a mile down the road..... Any hoo, back on subject.... This is the first i have seen of the finalised designs and I realy like them, look very smart, good choice of colours! Adam

I am making a presentation to a company tomorow and have a short video showing the test work that was conducted, I am trying to find an instrumental or something to put over the top so that it is not a boring silent video, idealy it needs to be sort of chilled/slow any help would be much appriciated. Thanks Adam

Unfortunatly Sam I disagree with this point, the cows, pigs and sheep on my farm are my property, We bought then, we insure them etc, and can do with them what we wish, whether that be to breed them to maintain a good herd/flock or rear them to be sold into the meat trade. Tell me this then, if you were going to be killed, would you rather be stunned/shot or ripped to pieces, i know for a fact i would rather be stunned/shot than ripped to pieces, It may not be "humane" but it realy is the best way. What about halal meat, all they do is drag the animal into a shed and slit its throat and let it bleed to death, not exactly nice is it! I very much doubt that, if humans did not evolve the way we did then another animal would have evolved to be the dominant species and it would be pretty much the same, there will always be a dominant species..... My family have been farming for many years, I have been involved in pretty much all aspects of growing animals for meat, We have beef cattle, sheep and pigs, I know for a fact that these animals have had a good life whilst living and know from personal experience that when they are killed at the slaughter house it is a very quick and humane process. I can understand why some people don't eat meat, but i get very defensive when they start picking on the farmers, alot of farmers i know, along with myself take great pride in their animals (I know some that don't and it does sicken me!) we try to keep them in the best conditions possible whilst they are living, and I would say that they have good lives! As for the comment that was made along the lines of "I reckon if you are unable to kill it yourself, you shouldnt be eating it!" I grow animals for meat, but i am not able to kill them myself, for example we had a cow that slipped and broke its leg, neither me or my uncle were able to take the gun to it to shoot it (We had the local hunt come and take it away), farmers have a connection to thier animals, especialy if you have put so much time and energy into them, yes I could kill a rabit or fox etc, but it is not the same, there is not the emotional connection, The only animal on our farm that i am able to kill is the chickens (free range egg layers), we had a bad flock where alot got very unhealty and would die, if we saw an un-healthy one we would remove it and kill it, but the chickens are different to the Cows, sheep and pigs as they are bought in large numbers (1000+) and are for the purpose of laying eggs, if they are not laying then we get rid of them..... I may have gone on a little bit there, but I hope you get the point I am trying to make. Adam

I ran a rear hope mono trials a couple of years ago and it was a very good brake, capable of holding my hefty weight! It was a realy awsome brake, very powerfull and completely silent, I loved it, the only thing that i struggled to get used too was the spoke flex in the rear wheel, I was using a 36h rear wheel with 4x build and even then flexed a little, the flex was the only thing that realy put me off the rear disc, other than that i realy liked it! and would probably consider it again...... Is it heatsink backings you are running, one option would be to get some Phat backings, they are alot lower profile than heatsink ones (about the same as plastic backings) Adam

I am not sure what the tensile mounts are like, but i had the same problem with my CNC echo clamps, what i ended up doing was filing the little tabs off so that they would clamp together further, if the tensile clamps do not have little tabs i would possibly suggest filing say 1mm off either the lower or upper mount so that they can clamp together better. Just another option..... Adam

Big thanks to Rockman Bikes for supporting me this year, keep an eye out for more vids in the near furture!! RockmanBikes Video 1 (Vimeo) Length: 1.30min Size: 23MB Enjoy Adam

I may actualy be able to attend this Adam -
Like has been said already any chris king hub will be ok for trials, since the hub will be used for trials you will deffinately want a stainless steel drive shell, and if you feeel like it the HD axle kit is a worth while upgrade too, The single speed hub does come with a HD axle but there is no option for a stainless steel drive shell for them, which is what puts me off running one, an alu shell can be ok with a wide based sprocket but lately i have seen very bad things happen to a singlespeed alu drive shell. In my oppinion go for either a Classic or ISO with a stainless steel drive shell, and if you feel the need a HD axle kit. Adam

Serves the b*****d right, when i got to that spot there was 2 guys there who had been riding, and instead of asking them to move on he grabbed thier bags and before they could get them he was back inside the building and locked the doors! he obviously called the police as shortly after a police woman arrived, we were talking to her for abit then he walks out with th ebags and says to the police woman "I have found these 2 bags and claimed them as lost property" and he handed them to her, f**king dickhead!! Other than that it was a damn good ride! Big thanks to Jack for arranging it. Adam -
Just got back, after getting up at 6.30 this morning, god damn it has been a long day, AWSOME though, so good to see such a turn out for the event, big hand to Jack for Arranging the whole thing. Adam

Jarod, those tyres you have bought do have a do have a reputaion of wearing fairly quickly, so i would keep them for when you go offroading and when you are driving around stick to the wheels you had previously. Never been much of a fan of Winch Challenges, i much prefer RTV (road taxed vehicle) or CCV (cross country vehicle) trials where it is more dependant on the driver skill and vehicle capabilities, not just how powerfull peoples winchs are...... Here are some pictures of my housemates Range Rover 3.5EFI: Testing his articulation on his old wheels (Sats on Modular rims): Trying his new wheels in a field, also cut the arches: Rubber archs fitted to cover the width of the tyres, road tyres put the width in perspective: At a pay and Play site pulling a mates V8 bobtail rangy: The Bobtail V8 looking a little tame here: Showing his rather agricultural bumper with hydraulic winch: My other housemates 90, very very tidy vehicle: An old housemates Disco: One of my mates trucks in college, lots of work has been done to it: Another mates very tidy series 2A, spent a weekend green laning around shropshire and wales in this with the roof down, awsome fun!!: That will do for now, might put a few more up when i get a chance....
