Hey Guys, Here is my new Rockman Kortz, Recived it yesterday and got right on ahead with building, and then after sorting my front brake went out for a quick ride, First impressions are that it is very good on the back wheel, the high BB helps alot, and even with the high BB it taps as well as the ISIS did, which was surprising, Sidehops very nicely too. Hopefully will give it a proper ride tomorow in plymouth. Spec: Rockman Kortz Frame Pashley 4 bolt forks Try-all cranks with atomz bash and 18t trialtech sprocket Cane creek S3 headset Front hope mono lightweight with custom singlewall and square holed DX32 Rear CK classic HD with custom square holed trialtech rim Front try-all tyre rear Continental Rain king Tyre + ultralight innertube HS33 front and rear, 4 finger lever blades, rock blues and custom drilled 4 bolt mounts Tartybikes forged stem Proto Rockbars Trialtech foam grips. There will be a few changes happening soon when i should be recieving some more new products from Rockman! Big Thanks to Rockman for supplying me with the Frame and other components! Let me know what you guys think! EDIT: new pictures with silver bars and matching levers. Adam

Anyone got a front 05 magura lever they could possibly bring? Adam

Might be able to make Saturday if the frames arrived, i will see what happens....... Adam

Rubber queen is a very good tyre, but due to the light weight-ness of it the sidewall is very thin which does cause some pinch flats often, i have recently changed from a rubber queen to a rain king and the tyre is MUCH better, grip is amazing! and the sidewall is just unreal, although i would say that it is still more bouncy than a maxxis! I have been running a maxxis ultralight (100g ish) innertube in mine at around 20psi and have no worries about pinching it! Adam

Sorry, i had not seen you question, I am currently unsure on the price of the frame, it should be similar to the ISIS, release date will be very soon, as far i am aware the frames are finished, Mine is in the post to myself as we speak!! Adam

Yesh, it is at my house in cornwall Any one can come and ride it, but give me abit more time to get some of the other stuff built! Adam
-
If you are down this way, of course u can come have a play, same goes for anybody realy.... You can not realy move them by hand, fortunatly i have a big telescopic forklift so i can move them about they are also wedged with other bits of wood and small wedge shaped stones they are all very sturdy! Naaa, doubt it, the are usualy pretty grippy, i may however get a chainsaw and stick some cross hatching on the tops of them..... Adam
-
Unfortunatly no Someone is storing it there, I need to get it moved as it is right where i wanna build the rest of the stuff...... We do however have plenty of room for tents etc in the field..... Adam

Finally, Trials Going Back Into An Affordable Price Range?
Bigman replied to The Duck's topic in Trials Chat
Keep an eye out in the future too, Might just be some more affordable Rockman frames being developed....... Adam -
I have always been tempted to give a splitter a go on my rear brake, might give one a try soon as i like the fact that the TPA will always push equal both sides when using a splitter, also as it gets rid of the crossover, setting up on my bike will be a tad easier..... Adam

Do not order from Trials UK, I would doubt you will get anything from them! Tarty are not overpriced, Trials Uk just try to undercut everyone to get buisness, but when they got buisness they f**ked everyone over, thaere has been LOTS of bad reviews about them! Also as far as i am aware they are not even operating any more! Adam

You say that, but my Rockman ISIS frame is 1.78kg ish and i have had it for 6 months now and it is still going strong! My coustellier was 1.65Kg and that lasted for over 6 months before it cracked...... Adam
-
Frame loos smart, will have to have a play next time I am up that way.... Ali mounts his bashguard between the BB cup and the BB shell, I think you can just make it out in some of the pictures. Adam
-
Should be some nice full build pics of mine when it arrives, deffiantly looking forward too it! Also as far as i am aware the production version will be a +50mm bottom bracket rise..... Adam
-
The 24inch specification was, if i remember correctly suggested by the tarty crew to make the bike more appealing to the UK market, the bike that is sold in france etc with that frame is actualy a 26inch bike........ I realy like it too, would love to have one as a play bike! Adam
-
Yup, pretty sure they are the ones Ali uses..... Adam
