  1. I have had this problem a few times, I usualy ended up having to change the piston to be honest dude Adam
  2. I can not remmeber exactly but a torx 10 or 15 should fit in there and should sort you out! Adam
  3. Single walling an echo urban rim is not that easy realy, I have single walled a rear one before, and the profile of them has 4 small walls between the sidewalls, meaning if you cur between the inner 2 you are only realy removing strip around 10-12mm wide, You would need to use a thick grinding disc to take out the 2 innner most walls so that you can take out a strip thats 20-25mm thick, so yeh, not realy very easy!! Adam
  4. This is the lightweight tyre, there is also a 2ply version, which is a 2.5, michelin quote 1300g for it, but if they over-estimate the weight like they did the this tyre it could be lighter. Adam
  5. It was hard to say on the natural I was riding today, it was mostly small techy stuff, Once i have ridden some street/bgger move natural I shall update this thread. Adam
  6. Righty then, after along time of not realy doing much with thier DH/FR tyres Michelin have updated them! The WildRock R that I have bought is a 2.4 version, it is a single ply tyre with a soft compound, The compound is not as soft as the Conti rain king/kaiser, i would say that it is probably between the maxxis 42a super tacky and the kenda stick-e, so it is quite grippy, Seems better than the rubber queen i have ridden before. As for the weight, on my little scales it came out at 900g (michelin quote 1000g), so quite light realy, After riding it on some natural today it is obviously not as stable as a dual ply tyre, but it is much more predictable than the rubber queen as it is not so balloon like, For the price of £26 (from anywhere that can order from Raleigh) I would say that is a pretty good tyre, Chainreaction have them on the site but they are not in stock yet, they do however have the 2.1inch version of what I am running which I think would be a pretty good front tyre, when i get some more money I will probably get one to try. Here are a few pictures of it on the bike: Link to a place with some Info on the tyres. Adam
  7. They are ment to be released at the end of April, There is an article on Tribalzine about them. 20 and 26inch too. Adam
  8. Just incase anyone was interested, I have ordered one of the 2.4 Michelin Rock R's i was saying about, should have it around the middle of next week, So i will give a review of it once i have ridden it. Adam
  9. Echo SL, I have had mine for a few weeks now, I was a little worried after coming from a very reliable CK, but it realy is VERY GOOD! Adam
  10. Realy enjoyed that dude, Shame I could not come out and ride that day Let me know when you are heading to the quarry, I fancy abit of quarryness soon! Adam
  11. I keep checking to see when these are available, no where has the in the UK at the moment, I did find somewhere that had them in stock in france, but stupidly did not order one, and then when I checked back they had sold out Chainreaction do have the 2.1 version in stock though, could be a good front tyre. Although I can not say anything about the rubber compound, they say they have super soft compound, but i don't know how soft that is. Adam
  12. Way better than yours Andrew, After all, Claas are not that great Adam
  13. Spray paint! Spray a little down the grip and slide it on, It should be dry enough to ride in a matter of minutes! Adam
  14. You can not space the crank off the axle, you will bugger the spline in your cranks, the only way to sort the proble is to buy a longer bottom bracket. Adam
  15. Its pretty obvious if anybody has met me One of the first things thats Prawn said to me the first time i went riding with him was "damn you are a bigman" and it has just stuck from then. Adam
  16. Just stole these pictures from OTN, Bike was built by the guys at trialprod to test, Looks awsome if you ask me!! Going to have to have a word with Mr Rockman, I fancy one of these Adam
  17. Well up for that, I will be there, and happily donate some monies! Adam
  18. It takes a LONG time, if you use a file you need to make sure it is a good sharp one, Dremels can be ok, but not usualy strong enough. The other way is to drill the corners and then drill randomly and then reoved the aterial thats left with a file, as it will be quicker due to there being less material. If you are me however, I use a illing machine, actualy did another rim today, took me about an 1.5hrs to square hole a rim from the std rim, the rim was a DX32 and the holes were 24 x 32mm, I have also single walled it and drilled the sidewalls, the rim started at 783g and it is now 515g, thats with eyelets too!! Adam
  19. Just finished my new DX32 front rim, Was 783g now 519g! Thats with eyelets too :P

  20. Very Eagle Eyed Mr Mark, I can see what you mean, does look very much like the try-all Lite logo! Bike looks good dude! Adam
  21. They are about 80mm to short, they would seriously bugger up any frames geo! Adam

    Schwalbe!?

The gooey Gluey is not as soft as the maxxis compounds so it may suit you abit better if you find the maxxis tyres wear too fast. I am waiting to hear more about the new michelin DH tyres, I am particularly interested in the 2.4 one listed here: CRC Michelin Rock'R And maybe the 2.1 listed would be a good front tyre, I just want to know how soft the super soft compound actualy is! Adam
  23. haha, I wish! I actualy had nothing to do with this, but I do want one! Adam
  24. Looking at it i would guess that someone wanted to buy a red sky frame, hence why the hydroxx has the red forks and disc hubs etc........ Adam
