I am actualy unsure on the weight of the frame, when i received it I did not have any means of weighing it ( I was working in NZ at the time) I would expect it to be a little heavier, but i am not sure. And Laurence: To quote myself: I am unaware what the final colours and graphics will be, this is a prototype frame, and therefore at the point this one was made the final finish was not chosen. Adam

As far as i am aware these are not the final graphics, they just put those on the frame as it was a proto, I will update this when I get the final production pictures. Adam

Update: Rockman Kortz 2 Will be released within the next few weeks!! Here is a picture of my prototype: Updates from the original kortz: New Hydroformed Downtube with flat bottom to increase the resistance to Dents (seems very good so far) 2Piece hollow chainstay yoke from the slate 2 frame New compact dropouts with integrated tensioners New Headtube New Geometry, 1095mm, +60mm, 380mm CS and 72deg HA Reduced angle between seat stays and top tube, this has reduced the risk of cracking at this point as the previous frame did. I have had the proto now for 4-5 months and it has been very good, rides very well and has out lasted both of my original kortz frames and is still going strong! Thanks Adam

I supose it does look alittle like that, but the original kortz was before the tractor, so realy the traktor is a 24inch kortz Adam

I certainly Will Craig,Gimme a shout when you are down here! We shall go ride some rocks somewhere! Adam

There are alot of Changes Ben: Geometry is slightly different to the previous Kortz, 1095, +55, 71deg for the original and 1095, +60 and 72deg for the new one. Structural changes: They have raised the seat tube meaning that the angle where the seat stays meet the top tube has been reduced, this is where previous kortz frames had failed, this current frame has lasted longer than both of my previous kortz frames did, There are new dropouts which still have the integrated tensioners but are much more compact, it has the 2 piece hollow yoke from the slate 2 frames, different booster setup to the previous kortz and also a pretty sweet hydroformed downtube which has a flat underside which seams pretty resistant to dents!! I might have time to make a quick video, I am not sure, as I will be recieving another proto soon to test. I will see what I can do! Hope that clears a few things up. Adam

Looking Good Ross! Love the all silver, nice and simple!! I could do with a set of forks similar to that......... Adam
-
Echo TR and SL are safe bets, I have been a chris king rider for the past 6 years and now have an SL and it is VERY good!! Adam

Yeh, there are a few riders about, Coventry is pretty good for riding too! i lived there for 18months a year or so ago and it looks like I will be moving back up to the coventry area within the next few months. Adam

Which ones are you on about dude? The rubber queen yes, but the Kaiser and Rain king tyres are softer and longer lasting than the try-all tyres! Would be interesting to try one of these tyres, but for the money I am not sure whether I would.......... Adam
-
Looking good dude, will have to get down to St Ives and have a ride sometime soon! Adam
-
Love it Dave! Always liked your vids, especialy the old one on the Megamo, that vid rules!! Adam

Try adding some more tension to your spokes, I am running the 26inch version and have found it to be very good considering it is a single walled rim, and I am not exactly the lightest rider ever I would say that the nza rim would flex just the same, maybe even more...... Adam
-
Not sure you are correct there matey, i am probably the heaviest rider on the forum and I run koxx forks, have done a few times now with no problems!! Just need to know, Is it mod or stock forks you are after, going by the picture I would guess at Mod, If so, trialtech are very good, or the echo urbans, as have been sugested, i can not see a problem with the try-alls either, although I have only used the 26inch version. Adam

Thats good, thanks Guys, Looks like I wanna get me a silver one now Adam

I would if it was my car Just want to see what it would look like with these things done. Stick up what you can do, only want to get an idea of what it would look like. Thanks Adam

I have a picture that i would like abit of photoshop done too please. here is the picture, I would like the Roof rails turned black and the lower door strips also turned black please. Thanks Adam

He ment the Seat Stays and the top tube (i think) It is a very sharp angle, The kortz 1 frame was similar and when the frame is being ridden the frame flexs around that join and the seat stays effectively push into the top tube and then they crack. The angle would be better if it was reduced significantly. Adam

Bit of an update, here is the first load of new objects for the park, I have a few more concrete bits to collect as the forklift guy could not get them out. Should also be getting some large tyres etc soon!! They are not large objects, but abit of imagination and they should be pretty good! Adam
