  11. Hi everyone, i have a bit of a problem on my hands. A few days ago the axle shaft on my chris king classic broke :) my local bike shop quoted me $340 AUD to replace it :) i was lookin on the net and i found that i could get a new hope mono for a bout $215 (including shipping), however i would need a wheelbuild and most likely new spokes (not sure about that though) My dad is trying to pressure me into fixing my king, but im a bit strapped for cash. Is the hope mono any good for trials and which option do you think i should go? Thanks, Michael

  14. moto trials is one of the cheapest forms of motorcycling out there the bikes can take a beating without damaging anything and if anything is damaged its basically just a clutch or front brake lever. The bikes themselves are also cheaper than MX bikes Depending on how you ride, the tyres will last up to a season. so overall its not that expensive
  15. geez im glad my grandparents moved from england out to australia :) right now we are coming into summer and our winter here is probably quite similar to your summer! i love this country :)

  17. repairing= money= not fun building= fun I just like to tinker with bikes (Y) especially my motorbike
  18. nose wheelie down a hill fair amount of speed too much front brake you get the idea... if you ever need a skin remover tarmac works fine (Y)
  19. we are just beginning summer here in aus i'm looking forward to three months of +30 degrees C i hope there are more +40 days this year as i love it when it is hot (Y)
  20. bike trials is pretty big over east but here in WA not alot happens with pushbikes However theres a decent size moto-trials scene here in WA so i do that aswell
