  1. john,to protect, your hubs get a bit of inner tube and cable tie it around the hub. you going to bring ur monty to a trial some time? to have a bit muck about before it starts? :D"
  2. hebo grips £6 super thin, super sticky, and last long.
  3. i think shorter riders can be better at spinning etc, where taller people at side hops, i personally think a smaller person will be able to gap better as most small people are quiker.
  4. im 5ft 9, big body small legs and small, arms, still chuck the bike about though, only lacking leverage from my legs. :P

    Ashton Just Wb?

mine was 1010, great frame, didnt like the steep head angle though. but rode great as a street/arena/natty bike. mine cracked, but i was dropping 9 ft on it (Y)" but they look great, the seat is wicked. only if it was 1060 and a slacker head angle id have mine back any day. + mine was signed by ashton and holroyd (Y)
  9. when tapping dont use and rely all on your power from your pedals. compress down with knees and your tyres will give a little bit. then direct your wheel into the wall, then , lift up and your knees and tyres will rebound you up. (Y)
  10. the disc mount is 2mm to low, so if it is a 185mm rotor you need a 183mm, this happend to me, sollution take angle grinder to top of rotor and grind it down till it works, and spins freely. did it to mine, not one problem what so ever (Y)

    A Little Ride

cool pics, kendal ey? (Y) great place to ride!!
  14. depends what catorgry you ride in, when i used to ride novice o found a small bike, easier in the sections i havnt been to a trial for a ages now, so i dont what the sections are like, but id say for club trials like tyke trials, 1055 is enough. easily.
  15. both wheels to about 27 inch, any thing over that to front wheel. imo :D
  16. i need them to!! i found one searching on google i think, ill have a look for you, its the one in manifesto. :D you getting one with the council :D
  17. think i'll get one, loved my old ashton just to short, just sold one aswell lol.
  18. what rims you gettin john, becasue my mate has a couple laid about which i think he is selling them not sure though (N)
  19. i like my planet-x alibongo, the bb height took a while to get used to but makes every thing 20mm smaller, also the wheel base feels spot on, it's not just the wheel base that affects the handling of a bike, its all the other angles.
  20. and v the crack out so it cant spread, just get a m-a-d for £100 or get a base ta26.
  21. love the lot of them apart from the carbon one, well done onza :( like the new style t-master. :(
  22. just the seat stay area look like there is no support in it, i think the seat tube, should be furthur back to take a bit of stress off the rear of the frame, i like the frame finish.
  23. looks short, i dont think it will be to strong
  24. only thing on a mod if you had a disc there would'nt be much clearance from the rotor to the floor when riding past rocks.

    Px Tibo...

yes but it all depends how people land the bikes how heavy they are, and how many times it was rode in 4 months, a bike could snap within 6 month and be rode twice a week or snap in 4 month and been riden every day. my alibongo seems well built so i dont think it will be a issue in strenght i just ride it, i trust my frame, and dont want a frame that will make me worry about it cracking, i have no worries in the alibongo snapping, so that means, theres is a 100% focus going into my riding. it seems well put together, unlike some frames that are being used on here.
