Whats the problem people are having with taps on these high rise bb's then? Is it just the feel of them or is it something different?
-
I might try a high bb now (i know i change my mind alot) but I'll have alot of time to get used to it because I wont change my frame when I get it for a while, so i should be able to learn taps with it. Whats the problem people are having with taps on these high rise bb's then? Is it just the feel of them or is it something different? p.s. I think i'll go for the HiFi because I love them holes at the head-tube

Ive decided to not go for a high rise bb, so i'll probaly get a Echo Control, i dont want to make myself get any worse by trying to get used to a high rise bb. Mabey when i go for a ride with someone who has a high rise i'll try it out and see, but untill then i'll stick with the normal bb. Plus i've heard that alot of people that have gone for a high bb have switched back pretty quickly.

I'm sorry for this but alot of people are saying the thing wrong with high bb's are that tapping is difficult. What is tapping?, i'm sure I knew but I havent ridden in so long i've forgot. God im embarased now

Thats why i said "in you're opinion". I know we cannot say what the best frame is because its our own opinions
-
Ok then, i've decided to get a new frame soon and im torn between these two frames: 1. A1 Adamant 2. Echo HiFi So which one is it to be and why? Can people post some of there fully built Hifi's because I havent seen many and like the frame and want to see it built. thanks
-
Hello everyone again, Just as a thought on what people think and try to get a good discussion thread. What, in you’re opinion, is the world’s best 26” frame? It can be a present frame or an old model, just to see what people’s opinions were on this. Personally I’ve got a thing for the A1 Adamant, but I haven’t ridden it yet.

I saw them as well and the only thing I could see that was different was the color. There are probably more differences though. I was getting the a1 because I liked the matt black but I could get the a2 and spray it.

Thanks a lot everyone, I really appreciate you’re comments.

I was bored so I did it straight away, I could have done alot better but I didnt want to start blending it because that takes a few days to get right. Hope you get the idea, I personally think it looks good with the new riser bars, if you're thinking of buying them, do. Zoo riser photoshop

I'll give it a go. I used to be pretty good and modifing cars using it. It'll be done by tomorow.

I would personally go for the Hope hub.

Ok, I think I’ll make a funny post to liven everyone up in the winter. What is your funniest moment you’ve had when trials riding. (Has to be trials related) Mine was when a friend of mine was bragging about how he could do this gap to a stump thing in the middle of an out of order fountain. So he tried to show us (I think you can see where this is going). With his feeble attempt at a kick hop he landed, bottom bracket first, on the stump fell backwards into the green water and in the process slashed his 1-year-old tyre of a rusty pipe. Ending up sitting in the water with the bike on top of him with everyone else in stitches as he tried to wade back without falling face first into the water, (which didn’t happen lol) Ok then what else is there for a good laugh?

What Is The One Most Important Thing In Your Life?

Im surprised no-ones said this yet but my bike, ohh yeah and the missus. -
I'm not shure if this is a stupid question, all though I run a formula 100 rear disc (well just bought the bike with it on so i havn't ridden it), and im allready thinking for upgrading to a hope mono trials. So i thought i'd come online and ask people how they got on with a rear hope mono trials, one problem.... there isnt any! Why don't many (if any) trials riders run a rear disc?? Is there problems with them, and what makes them different from rim maggies thanks
-
Well there's been some disagrement over the new Hope Mono Trials disc brake. I thought i'd make an official post about what people think of it. I've heard alot of complaints but seen ALOT of people running them. What do you people think of it, is it any good for trials??

Ive had an idea. I was going to buy some rigid forks for my Dr Jeckyll park set-up (not trials), and thought about some trials forks because i know there strong but does any one think they wont be any good for the Jeckyll. They may take some hard hits but nothing serious. If people think this is a good idea what forks do you recommend and why, and please nothing expensive (like over £80, because i can get some normal forks for that price, just wondered if they would be better.) thanks

Ive got to agree Freewebs isn't very good. I had a account with them but i soon changed to www.piczo.com I urge people to go to Piczo it is much better. Any way good site, keep it up.

No i dont know Phil it's just he has a great style of riding

This one has got to be said, its not mine but what a bodge. This is a home made chain tensioner from a piece of floppy disc metal and the legendary cable ties, with a bit of electrical tape thrown in for good measure. This is great i bet it worked wonders for the chain. bodged chain tensioner

I know this isnt trials related but i think it'll be a good dicussion of the foum. Today at school we were having a conversation about what our perfect world would be. Well the girls came out with everything being pink and fluffy in the world (the other halfs idea idea). And most of the boys said in their perfect world there would be no school (fair enough), but then it came to me. After a long think of about 2 seconds i said that in my perfect world there would be walls, ledges and gaps as far as the eye could see. There would be no authorities coming to "move us on" and all pedestrians would stop and say "what a good hobby you have there, at least your not like all these kids vandalising everything" instead of the usual "i dont think you should be doing that" and the usual tutting as they walk past. And in my perfect world nothing, and i mean nothing, was ever wrong with my bike. Please share your ideas of your perfect world.
