Sorry people please can this topic be closed, as funding has fallen through on me buying the t-pro frame and forks . I'm going to stick with my stock for a while and build up my basic skills.
-
Oh and by the way, i've only got the frame and forks at the moment. Sorry if i hadn't mentioned it before.

Since I usually ride a stock I’m completely clueless about freewheel systems on mods. I know that I don’t want a front freewheel and I need some advice on what to do next. I was going to put a hope trials pro 2 hub on the back (didn’t know whether it would go on a mod wheel?). But now I’ve been told I can run this: Rear Hub: Echo fixed 20" Rear freewheel (screw on): ACS welded Crank (square taper): Echo 6061 Front chainring: Tensile I didn’t know I could put a fixed hub on the back with a screw on freewheel, can I? If so what changes if any would anyone make to the above set up on a t-pro.

Custom Built Aluminium Mod Frame

Don't you ride a stock though Chris? -
I’ve been led to believe that they are really good. Don’t take my word for it though as I am still to use them. For all your pad queries look here I'm sure it will have what you are looking for.

I know i'm not Mark but if you are thinking of the Onza mod prototype than I believe so. Amazing isn't it . I love the chainstay, no more taking apart chains for paint or what not. Any way for more info go here

It looks like you're a good rider, but i'm afraid it looks like you cant spell either. -
Yeah, when I first registered on this forum, it was a good week before I read the guidelines at the top of the page. ( ashamed) But I did read them and it's good to put one here for people like me who go straight into reading the posts.

What Cassette Shall I Run On A Hope Xc Rear Hub?
theone2be replied to steve-o1986's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I agree with DAB, I run single speed because of the weight loss off the back of my bike. (needed because of a heavy rear rim ) I've ridden bikes with gears and its alot nicer to ride to a spot . So if you don't mind a bit of extra weight on the back than go for gears it'll save you alot of leg ache going to places. Plus you can set up the ratio to what ever terrain or section you may find yourself going through. The advantages of single speed are that you have a good weight loss on your bike (allways a plus to have a lighter bike) and you'll get a overall cleaner look for your bike I think it depends alot on what kind of rider you are. Do you change gear alot when your riding, if yes than have gears, but if you leave it in one gear for alot of the time then why not go single speed? -
This is a good topic, it's about time we had one that starts to explain the rules a bit. I'm still trying to get validated, but i'm sure I follow these rules to a T. I hope its just a matter of time. Anyway for proof you don't have to be on here for ages to get validated speak to human_furball, he's one of my best mates and he's just got validated and is anoying me about it all the time in school. I can see why though all his posts were good. Any tips to get validated human_furball (chris)?

My mate did that too me, when i found out what was going on I stuck that remote up his a** sideways . I think he enjoyed it a bit too much though.

Should I Use Double Disc On My Stock?
theone2be replied to joe parker's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
No offence mate, but you seem to know nothing about Trials or how to speak and present you're self on this forum. In another post you keep talking text and seriously you should stop it, people can't understand you and you won't ever get validated. In my opinion make another account and start fresh. Ohh and a rear disk you've got to be joking, sidehops will be the death of it within a week. -
Where can we buy "BN'S" from I want more of them. I loved them. I did/remember/experienced/are still doing about 90% if the stuff there lol.
-
Yes I do airbrush for a hobby but also a way to make money (been doing it for about 3 years now).
-
Yeah I am going for red. I'm going to wait until I can get my hope hub then I can colour match everything to that red (or another red if I don't like it).

How My Views Of Trials Forum Have Changed...
theone2be replied to hill_393's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Dave you couldn't have put that any nicer way? lol Any way how's your snapped spoke? And how the hell did you know it was a snapped spoke just by the sound your bike made? I had absolutly no-idea, ahh well its something to add to your "Broken Parts list" And keep working on breaking a top cap. I think if you break that then thats everything you can break on a bike broken by you. -
Just wanted some opinions, because i couldn't decide.
-
I thought of that, and I've also got some high strength clear / protective coat in the workshop, I think that could work nicely on them without it getting rubbed off. I should be spraying a ronnie rim red aswell to match.
-
I think i'm going to go with the red. I'll spray my levers tomorrow, I don't see many levers being sprayed so i'll see how it turns out.
-
2.6, but it will change soon.

Well, ive got a silver frame, and i wanted to do a colour scheme like the ones below, i've narrowed it down to Red or Gold. Getting parts in different colours dosn't bother me as I am a airbrush artist and can colour most parts the way i want. So in your opinion what color scheme works best? Red: Or Gold: Thanks for any replies (P.S. ~ I havent got a control i've just used these pictures as examples. It dosn't matter what bike ive got I just want to know what colour looks the best.)

I love my bag!!!

Thanks very much, i was going to get a echo but with 47mm, i don't think theres much chance of me fitting that without cutting down the pads.
