Thanks, a friend of mine has somehow got the number for where he works and phoned it and his mum happened to be there! Well apparently the wheel is just lying around his house and his mum is going home to have a "chat" with him. So it should get sent now, thanks for the advice about telling his mum even if it was sarcastic.

Right this is whats happened I added Adam Leek (adamm on here) to msn because i wanted to buy this: wheel I gave him the bank transaction last monday and he said on msn that he'd post it 1 oclock on the tuesday, it got to the sunday and nothing had arrived, my dad phoned him and he assured us that the packaging had ripped and it was sent back to him and he had posted it again special delivery. ive been constantly phoning his mobile and it goes straight to answer phone, and ive just realised that hes blocked me on msn aswell. I know he's goin to australia tomorow to back pack for a year! I havent got his address but ive called the police and are tracking his address through his bank. I wanted to know if any-one here knows him and could speak to him asap, as id rather get the wheel or my money back then involve the police further, i cant understand why he's done this as he has a good reputation on here and all good refs. Please someone i need to speak to him and / or find his address, or if he'll just send the wheel we can end all this.

I wasn't sure on this bike so is this the one your'e on about? If so than i know of a friend who has this bike and he rides preety well on it, but i would upgrade to HS-33's and some good pads. These are ok bikes for beginners but if you want to improve try going for a second hand T-bird or even better a T-pro on here, when you get validated. T-pros are great begginner to intermediate bikes that last a while. And because this is a saracen please dont do big drops on it as if your not smooth these do have a tendensy (sp?) to crack and / or snap. In conclusion these are good bikes for begginners but you will find it is holding you back after a while as you improve.

Yes very true, i forgot that tarty have just got in some Alex DX32's. I know of a few people riding them and and even for some heavy riders not even a flatspot yet, some ace rims there.

If you want to do more natural then definatly loose the pashley. Pashleys are street bikes through and through. Just having a quick look through tartybikes.com and the frames they have got, i would suggest going for one of theses frames; Ashton Justice These frames feel good on all types of terrain, they feel great for street but they feel equally at home on the rocks. Plus the +20mm Bottom bracket rise means it still sits nice and low. Also they are designed by mr Ashton himself what more could you want. Echo Control My friend rides one of these and is great on everything he rides. The Frame only has a +10mm Bottom bracket rise so it's even nearer to the pashley. These frames can be made to look and feel very nice indeed. I don't know the length on the pashley but im gueesing its quite short, so if you want to stay in keeping with this then the ashton may stand you in better stead as even the short version of this is longer than the ashton. Onza Limely There are not many of these around lately, this bike is a great looking bike and is ideal for natural terrain. Check out the tarty bikes video with Danny butler & Stan Shaw riding natural on these beauties (TartyBikes-DannyAndStan). The bottom bracket is only +20mm so its sits as low as the ashton. But may i add, as with the Control this is quite a long frame at 1095mm MBK T1000 These frames are complete sex on spokes in my opinion, Stan Shaw (above) rides one amazingly and they look the nuts with the right parts. The colour of this frame is rich and stands out well, the welds are nice quality and I doubt there will be many of these broken. Ohh and it even comes with a bottle of touch up paint when you scratch it. The bottom bracket is the highest so far in this little selection at +35mm so it wont feel as low to the ground but at least its not as high as a Vinco at +80mm!! There is my little selection on what frames would suit you but its only my opinion do what ever you feel like in the end. God I wrote a bit of an essay there. Oh and for a rear rim, ive heard good things about ronnie's and the try-all rims sound nice too, and the try-all's have just got the fluro colours in!

If you allready have the housing and lever I think the best wallet friendly choice is the avid, allthough i'm not sure of their power as iv'e never tried one. On the other hand the mono trial is expensive for a reason, it was purely made for trials. I tried a few mono trials (different sizes) and all of them have been super grippy with loads of power. The only downside with the mono trial is that they have been known to break (no pun intended ) . No-one i know has broken one but theres quite a few people on here that have experienced difficulties with them. In conclusion if i had the money i'd definaltly get the mono trial (which i will be doing later on this year )

There lovely, but please dont knock your cranks on with a hammer like i did to human_furballs adamant and broke the BB lol. Its fine now though

Agreed you are inventive, but remember that those forks are 20mm axle, so now you have to find a 20mm axle hub that can stand up to trials and then lace that to a rim that can stand up to trials. For me it's a bit to much hassle, i'd rather stick with trials specific forks. But don't be put off be us if you want to give it a try be my guest and shut all us up. lol.

Indestructable (but Not To Expensive) Freewheel?
theone2be replied to T-Max's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I'd go for a tensile as eno's dont seem to be cheap. Was the Acs welded? Mabey a welded one might last longer, i don't know for sure I ride stock. -
I have been Straight after school theres a junction and i went acroos on my bike and a twocer doing 40mph hit my side with the front of his van and knocked me to the other side of the road. My bike was fine I was a little scratched up and all these people were making a big deal over it, he even offered me his van though (i tohught it was a joke so i said no). Ahh memories.

Don't bleed with water, there will be problems down the line because water is a mix with oxygen and it leads to air bubbles in the line, ask dave (DAB on here he told me about it). Try another re-bleed thats all i can think of, next time were out i'll see if i can set them up any differently for you .
