I think I must be one of the lucky lucky people who has received something from him, and it was the right part. Ordered a King Drive Shell from him as they were much cheaper than anywhere else, saw 2 days later on here that he was ripping people off and I started worrying, then got my part 2 days after that. I think I was lucky, and will definitely think twice before ordering again, especially anything of any value. Frooty

For a change I was the one celebrating my first Fathers Day. Got some typical 'best dad' tee shirts, a mug, some socks and some books. Actually felt a bit emotional getting fathers day presents, made me feel like a proper Daddy (not that I didn't before). Frooty

Not doing bad, as Christophe said thay are good parts, and unless I am mistaken I dont think you can get the ti hubs any more. I got a red one on my Cannondale in cellar doing nothing in great condition on an old school ceramic rim, makes me wanna sell it. Frooty

Still, I'd be very suprised if the actually did it, it'll be a stunt to rake in viewers.

That wont happen, they probably have Hammond in stig outfit and just have him running on. Frooty

Its how a lot of these companies work. there are loads of companies how there who guarantee to buy your property, but will offer you 70/80%, its how they make their money. This is exactly the same thing. Frooty

Best way is not start, its a filthy habit Davey!!! Revolvers tip is the best, help your mind associate smoking with something horried and/or disgusting and it will make you not want it. Your body will still want that nicotine which is where gum/patches come in, but like everything said you have to actually want to quit and not just feel like you have to. Frooty

No, the post shouldn't have even been here, its pointless, another way to help NOT get validated. Frooty

tartybikes.co.uk without a doubt, their service is second to none. Frooty

Sorry, but you have just as much control when block shifting as you do when going through all gears, in fact if you take your test today they would expect/prefer you to block shift!!! I took my test in January and my instructor taught me at the time that they wont fail you for not doing it, but the examiners would prefer to see you block shift, and this was confirmed by my examiner.

CCleaner is spot on, I never used anything like that in 2 years of having my laptop, used that and noticed an immediate difference and run that every week now. Frooty

I thought you weren't allowed to do em in your own cars any more, had to be done in a registered instructers car? Unless that was a rule they were going to bring in and scrapped.

I'm so glad you said that before me, I didn't want to state the blatently obvious. Frooty

Everyone will say pretty much the same thing, just relax and enjoy it. Dont see it as a test, see it as a drive and I am assuming you enjoy driving so enjoy the drive. At the end of the day if you fail you fail, its not the end of the world, start worrying too much and you will fail. Frooty

The sax guy was apparently much better than the music he was playing (this has come from one of his Students), I think he was playing it safe as you said to 'sound nice to get votes'. The best ones won on the night, Diversity were fantastic and nailed it when it mattered and the choreography was mint, but like someone else said Flawless were just as good all way throught he competition, difference is Diversity stepped it up a notch. I have only been driving 5 months but drive pretty much every day and the 1 thing that really gets on my tits, is people who think because they have indicated they have a right to move across into the lane that want to, even if you are in their way!!! they seem to indicate and just move without looking or thinking!! The middle lane hoggers as per first post dont really bother me as its easily solved by moving to the outside lane to take over them, but when they are on national speed limit country roads and doing 40 really does annoy me. Also get pretty hacked off when people dont read the lanes properly, we have a large round-about near me between M606 and M62 (chain bar roundabout for those who know it), and the lanes flow really well when people know the lanes, but if people dont wknow them and dont watch the lanes properly, they end up almost in the side of people and then blame you!! For god sake people learn to look what your f**king doing. Frooty

and so was my post I eventually found it anyway

It all comes down to protecting its full members. Anyone can sign up to the TF and unless we know who they are and trust them we dont know that they aren'y here just to rip someone off, hence the validation system. Frooty

I disagree with that, the guidelines say, and I quote, "For Sale/Wanted/Swap threads are not allowed in New Members Chat" There is nothing to say that a new member cannot contact a full member to purchase an item, it would then be the sellers choice as to sell to the new member or not, and if it goes wrong its their own fault. But...the reason they do it is to protect its full members from people coming on the Forum to simply rip people off, but I don't think Matt should have been warned, it was his choice to respond and sell to the New Member.
