Best thing to do is make sure you get a receipt of the work they are going to carry out when you leave the bike. If they then do anything extra without asking you or telling you needs doing you can refuse to pay it. as for bleeding i find diesel is much better, thanks to Bucky's idea Frooty

Lots of you saying they cannot do anything, your wrong there is a lot they can do If they see you commiting a crime or causing any damage they can detain you until an officer arrives to take it further. If you do argue and resist they do have powers to take further action to detain you until an officer arrives, action such as arresting you, similar to a citizens arrest just a little more legal. Best thing to do is respect them, they are only doing their job, if they ask you to move on you just do that, ride elsewhere and come back to the spot later when they're gone. Damn this is a good question. I think they do imagine things but from a blind persons perspective. We imagine things based on images we have stored over years of 'normal' life. If you were blind you will build up images of things from touch, if you were blind and held a dog for a few minutes you would get a pretty good idea of what shape it took, the same applies for most other things. The sounds blind people hear will allow them to relate sounds to shapes and so on, so using these they can have a pretty good imagination, the only thing they won't be able to use is the colours and in depth features of things which resricts how they imagine things. If someone describes something to you that you have never seen before you imagine what it looks like in your head, its normally a totally wrong picture but its you imagining it, i suppose it will be the same for blind people. Thats my opinion anyway I dont think we'll ever know for sure but its gets you thinking Frooty

i aint too computer technical minded but here goes. I had the same problem before, spoke to my uncle who is a computyer whizz and there is some battery, like a large watch battery, on the motherboard that he told me to replace, i did this and it has been fine ever since, try that Frooty

Kwik Fit have been great when we used them G/f had a nasty noise coming from under her car and it turned out the pipe and snapped clean off at the weld going onto the CAT. They didn't have the item in stock but still managed to get the part in and fit it within the hour, and its been perfect ever since.
