  1. If it does rain you might wanna get up to Shipley Glen or Addingam, in the same sort of area so not a huge distance to go and they both are better in the wet than Leeds street. BTW its Sat 3rd and Sun 4th and the Trial is on at Oakworth the Sunday Frooty
  2. Try putting it in MBUK, if they still do a classifieds section that is. Bike forums etc are the best but dont advertise it on here till you get validated. Frooty
  3. Cool that'll do, just making sure im not the only one who got it before i delete it Sods law is i delete it and its genuine Frooty *clicks delete*
  4. Just some advice please. Just got an Email from Paypal Inc titled Paypal Dispute, but i aint got Paypal. Anyone know if this is a dodgy virus thing or genuine, as in will i be safe opening it? Frooty
  5. Ha ha i saw the title of this topic and thought 'oh no another pilllock on TF, but seems i was wrong. I had the same problem as you when i first start years ago and all i can say is practice. It will come naturally. Keep hopping, weight back, arms do a lot of the work too so make sure they are pulling the bars but not too much or you'll just go over backwards. Its just a case of finding the balancing point, you'll nail it soon enough Frooty
  6. Well Good show as always but looks like Pete Wright fukked up on the flying reliant eh, after his claims he was invited to help out Blame Pete it went wrong PMSL at the bit with the chainsaw. Frooty
  7. £169 direct from Super Cycles http://www.supercycles.co.uk/site_results....leSearch=Search Frooty
  8. Not to be picky butttttt........ Conceived in June would mean born in March and July would mean born in April, hence its actually a lot of May loving! But anyway..... Happy Birthday guys Frooty
  9. What i'd give to be 19 again Never met you but Happy Birthday Ben, make sure you get V V drunk!! Frooty
  10. BB rise is basically how high the BB is from the floor, from what i remember the rockhound is one of the lowest around, very low BB indeed, once you get on an up to date bike you will see the difference. It just makes the bike feel better to ride and better to handle As i said i used to ride the rockhound myself and from riding that i loved the feel of the Echo bikes, especially the Pure, possibly try that Frooty
  11. Fair enough, i wont disagree with what i haven't seen working. Pics would be interesting but i think i can now imagine the fittings of it. There was one i used to have where it fit like that one you posted a pic of but also had a tension bar or something that fits between the standard brake mount and the disc adapter itself, not sure how they perform with trials bikes as i only used it on xc Frooty
  12. So is it fitted on the frame through the axle AND another bolt? If so that goes against what Wayne said as it will be putting preassure on the frame, and to be honest it wont be as realiable as all the braking power will be focused on that one bolt, hence increasing the risk of something going wrong/snappage Frooty
  13. haha not seen a handsomedog in years, was one of my first bikes and i did like it but yeah it is too long and too heavy. Nowadays it depends what your after cos theres some many frames out there, Best thing to do is get out with some riders and try their bikes, see what you like and take it from there Frooty
  14. Forgive me if im missing something obvious on that adapter but surely that wouldnt work properly Im guessing that sits on the axle between the hub and the frame/on the oustide of the frame, but with all the preasure when braking that will just spin with the wheel wont it, there is nothing for it to fit onto a fixed point, such as the frame. Someone please put me out of my misery Frooty
  15. Yeah sure thing Wayne, i'll have to ride as there are no trains going that way till like 10am, meaning ill be too late. Can you meet me in Shipley? Frooty
  16. Hopefully ill be there but possibly later in day as can't get there early due to lack of travel. If i get there early enough Wayne ill be happy to observe but can't promise, will most likely make my way up on xc bike Frooty
  17. God, Hull, used to live there, only for like 6 months but never got to ride it There are a few riders there but i can't for the life of me remember their names. Frooty
  18. How cheffing high is that bottom bracket, surely that would be awful to ride! Frooty
  19. Exactly how i would word it Frooty
  20. The process of mourning is a must IMO. The humand body/mind can only take so much and not mourning is not allowing yourself to admit that they are gone, in time it will catch up with you I lost my nan recently and don't think i have fully mourned yet, didn't cry a huge amount at the funeral and it doesn't feel like she has gone, but saying that i did live with her for 7 years so she was always around, but in time it will catch up with me im sure! I personally wouldn't change the way i am with feelings cos they are what make me. Frooty
  21. Thought you ran a bike company Pete, but Meh we'll never know Frooty
  22. well.. currently TF has over 6500members. Call it £1.70 per person and we would have enough to buy it, could use as the offical TF pimp mobile!! Frooty
  23. Sam/Ian its been wet and thats it until now, its coming down real fine now and will be nothing but ice tomorrow! Depends where he wants to take you, cos some areas are great when its wet Frooty
