Yes mabye so but you also have to watch if your climbin stairs to get away that you dont get boxed in at the top by them or just becasue its a dead end, either way your screwed. On a pit bike its alot easier ive got away in built up areas on the pitbike because it accelerates so fast before they know it ur gone and there smaller to get down little short cuts and such like

Same here, ive been meaning to start saving since september after using my mates one before we blew up his back box nd he sold it. I must say i enjoy the motorbike alot more than the push bike, so much more exiting and scary, all ive learned to do on one is hill climb nd do a bit of rock and obviously donut, wheelspin, take the bike broadside, lol. Good fun when you cant b arsed doin trials on it

sounds to me like its slippin as you've said take it you have gears on your stock, mabye try single speed then it could be that you just need your gears set-up again, ask your bike shop to do that and see if it sorts it all i can think off, mabye someone else will know more
