Ive got this customer who wants to ride over the pirrines (sp), towing a trailer. He's insistent that everything has to be superlightweight and has therefore decided to go for a full carbon road bike.... I need some good examples of a steel or maybe even an alu bike thats as light as possible but going to take a shitload of abuse and beable to take 25kg in a trailer without ripping the back end off. Ideas?

LOL In other news i got f**ked over good and proper last night. I think gay is the way.

I brought and ride my bike as a main method of transport. I have a stupidly big hill to ride up on the way home, anyone who lives near me can vouch for that so single speeds/fixies were out of the question. I'm saving up and getting a decent roadie for the summer. So yes i ride a Flat bar'd bike from halfords, but im not trying to show off... Oh, and try and find a full carbon road bike for less than a grand that matches upto the Boardman Carbon Team?

Yes yes yes yes. Do it. You will not regret it. Only thing i will warn you about is the sram shifting system. If your used to Shimano it'll probably take a bit of getting used to.

Whats the cheapest i'd be looking at for a skiing holiday, for a week, in late March. And is it worth going in March? Its for two people, and I'm after ski/boot hire, passes accommodation and travel.

Whats your motives for going single speed? Why do you use your bike, getting too and from work? Are there hills. I was tempted to get a single speed just because i liked the thought of them. But then realized i have a f**k off hill to get up on the way home from work and i couldn't warrant spending £500 on a bike I'd have to walk half way home.
