My mate did that in the first 3 days of having one, then ground off all of the bash plate mounts on the frame. Nothing else has cracked since and well..... hes not the smoothest of people.

If there the same as hayes surely you can get them from most bike shops?

Iv used a few hydro ones and they ALL have been amazing, someone had one on the back of his stock and it still locked like a bitch. Would recommend the hydro, if you want cable though.... BB7 all the way.

If I were you I would get a stock im just over 6ft and find my python long a bit small. Onza T-rex would be a good starting bike, or you could wait for the new ashton stocks to come out?

It can be built and built strong, I think CLS used to run 36 hub 32 rim. Not 100% sure though... -
