Yeah I guess if he found out he was selling them to make money for himself he would be a bit pissed off. Thats the thread when I decided to buy them look at the date...and still havent recieved them.

It was constant chain reaction of parts being changed, as the monty cranks didnt have enough thread with a bash guard to run front freewheel so by changing that I would have needed to get a ISIS BB instead of running my square and would need new chain, cranks and new back wheel with cog then I found hairline crack in the Stem of my monty so had to spend more money to change that, then might as well change the bars wilst im at it....CHAIN REACTION OF PROBLEMS!

Yeah never again am I going to buy bike parts second hand after this. Guess I will have to order from Tarty and pay full £100 for cranks....Thats £150 gone out of my bank. If I have not just spent a fortune on my bike I would have quit trials because of this. Its proper extracting the urine this is.

Well thats what im trying to find out from him but had no reply from him and he must been real lazy for the cranks to arrive a week late.

Well I dont want to acuse him and say he stole my £50, because I recently bought the tensile freewheel of him for £30 and it came with no problems. Im hopeing this is just a problem with the postal service or address written on packege. So I just need him to try and chase up tell me where these cranks have gone, but doesnt help and he is ignoring me. I guess I will have to resort to phoning him when i get a number.

Hi fellow riders I paid Abdab £50 for some Tensile cranks about 2 weeks ago, he said he recieved the money and posted it on saturday over a week ago but still havent recieved nothing. I been trying to ask him to try and chase it up and any info he could give me so I could go to my local post sorting office to see if its there but he has ignored both of my PM and he is also ignoring me on MSN by setting his status to away when i type him a message. So my £50 has disapeared into this guys pocket and cant finish building my bike... Can anyone recomend anything else for me to do?

I yousto snap loads of 8 speed mtb sram chains back in the day but ever since i got KMC kool chain I never snaped one. Jesus Christ Ruse did you steal that of a motorbike!

I just spent a fortune converting to rear disc after having enough trouble from maguras...hope its worth it. Gone for 160mm hope mono trial, it works really good on the front. Still waiting for parts to arrive in the post.

I sold half of it and waiting for load bits to arrive in the post. Greater London = Greater riding!

If I got my bike ready in time I will join you, still need to order a couple more bits.

Buying new lever will be my last resort...im tempted to change to rear disc as maguras piss me off too much, but it wont be cheap to convert.

I tried looking but does anyone know where i can get a new lever seal (o-ring). My brake lever was leaking all over last night. I cant see Tarty selling any on their site neither do chainreaction.

Oh no! This isnt good, I just found this out. He was really funny guy everytime I went riding with him specially in London and Portsmouth for many years. Im really going to miss Hobbs.
