  2. Mine was when i was in the middle of shrewbury, and i just got my front wheel up a curb and endoed the rest up, but the back wheel hit the curb, forcing it up, ended up on my arse in the middle of the main street in stitches, with all my mates riding on, not noticing me on the floor. jOefish
  3. My first bike was an Onza T-Raptor, nice bike when it was working, i must of broke like everything on it in 6 months, excluding rims brakes forks frame... i was very surprised when it finally snapped, and statred to cut u the frame for bits, that the frame was thin.... very thin, but i always remember that bike, i was distrought (sp??) when i sold it with another onza frame, (50 quid off trialsshop.co.uk) My first 20" is a da bomb harbinger, with bodged everything really, renthal handlebars, home made magura 4 bolt brackets and homemade chain tugs looks neat, ooh and i have a back magura julie disc brake lever for the back magura, and the orginal one for the front...
  4. I used petrol to put mine on... it evaporates really quick and doesn't seem to move at all... :P
  5. Its ok, when it doesn't break, i like the feel of it because its quite short, and easier to throw about then some of the other bikes, the colours look naff, but i like the pink rims on it...
  6. That was my first picture, i don't know how to make it any bigger. Monty That might be a bigger picture of it
  7. I don't really have the foggiest with either... but i still love riding my bikes
  8. Hey, what about a grind on the front? im going to attack my rimm tomorrow hopefully :turned: (Y)
  9. Go for Maxxis High Rollers super tacky 2.3  Tiogas are good all round tyres and very cheap, but not really up for trials, with the tread pattern, Maxxis all the way!
  10. oh, its the updated version of www.graffics.co.uk both got the same sort of detail on, but .tk looks better, if you got any kind or queery just add me on joerothwell1inamillion@hotmail.com
  11. dude, have a look at www.graffics.tk, or add me at joerothwell1inamillion@hotmail.com
  12. I've noticed quite a few people are requesting graphics, whether it be personalised or just brands, if you want to purchace some, have a look on www.graffics.tk, an up and coming company, specialising in vinyl for offroad biking, can do basically anything... (Y) Forgot to say, they do t-shirts aswell (Y)
  13. I have to do that on my monty, i do miss my onza (Y)
  14. aluminium step plate, i was desperate for it, and i couldn't be arsed to buy one, so i bodged one up, first time i got the sizes right, it bend, to i made another two, and welded loads of small strips to them, one for both sizes of the adapter. if that makes sense. hasn't bent at all,
  15. having a bigger rotor will make the brake more powerful, i used to have a magura julie on my onza (god bless her soul) it could only fit a 160mm rotor, until i bodged 1 up, to get it to fot a 180mm, it did make a difference, but i don't advise bodging up an adapter. (takes too long to make) but if you desperatly want it, then bodge 1 up, doesnt look as lush though. Try crc and local bike shops to see if they can order, im sure i've seen some somewhere, on an online bike shop, think it was crc, but you should be able to buy one. (Y)
  16. when i had my t-raptor (god bless its soul) i could sit down, pedal and wheelie, and it's not like im small either, 5"10 i think, but now i have an old school monty, with this stupid seat, well uncomfy, t-raptor seat = best trials seats ever! when i had my t-raptor (god bless its soul) i could sit down, pedal and wheelie, and it's not like im small either, 5"10 i think, but now i have an old school monty, with this stupid seat, well uncomfy, t-raptor seat = best trials seats ever!
  17. Have a look at second hand bikes, so places like www.ebay.co.uk and www.mbuk.com and of course the buy and sell bit on this website, these are the best places to look. hope i helped.
  18. Dmr zip-grips all the way, want to try foam grips though, i have heard a lot from these, mostly good... but dmr grips have to be the best grips ever!
  19. They are very powerful, quite bulky though, and with a 203mm disc, it's quite big, so if you've only started and not really got a lot of bike control, its quite easy to snap. If you want a good brake I'd either go for an Avid bb7, or a hope trial
  20. Hey, if anyone went on the halloween Birmingham ride, then you might know whats wrong with it, its pathetic, you can pull the lever all the way to the bar, and it still doesn't lock, i think it needs rebleeding though, but i am really unsure... cheers by the way, it was on a second hand bike, and its a red magura...if that helps
  21. hey, I have about 20 videos, and I want more, but I have searched on Google and not really found a lot, has anyone got any good suggestions where to get some good ones from? cheers
  22. I find the Maxxis Mo-Fo 2.35 i great tyre for the rear, i've had no puntures with it, even though i've ghostied my monty into thorn bushes, and run with basically no air in the tyres... (Y)
