I know the Dmr zip-grips are considered to be quite fat, but i think they are awesome, definately have a look. I think you can buy them for around 8 quid from Tarty. jOefish

Hey, I haven't yet really introduced myself, even though i have been on for a while. My name is Joe, im 14, im from shropshire, and i ride a Monty 230 stock. I got into bike trials through the internet, as i was searching for funny videos, and nbr crash came up, and thats where i saw all these amzing videos of crashes. Which was just around my birthday, so i saved my birthday money and bought my first trials bike, onza t-raptor, i loved it to bits, but then it started to get boring, so i converted into a dirtjumping bike, then eventually it snapped. By then it was the summer holidays, and I was looking for a new bike, when I heard this dodgy lad was selling a da bomb harbinger for 60 quid. So i bought it, it had cut off handlebars, v-brakes and grips which ruined my hands and gloves. And from there I bought a monty 230, which i still have, and now im buying a koxx LB off Bigman. I also do motorbike trials, so I knew about bike trials through the Sheffeild Iindoor Trials. By the way, Thanks for all the support I've had, and most probably will have in the future with my bikes. jOefish

I am wrong, sorry about that, but still miles away, but cool, and they ride stock nice one

Think the guy rides a mod though, can you get one that fat for a mod? this is another reason to change to stock but what ever floats your boat
-
not if you keep getting pinchs, i was talking to fat mike yesterday and he rides with tubeless, but yeah, if its the odd thorn then go for them, or the linings for the tyre you can get, what tyre you using? jOefish

i've had a trials bike for about a year and a half, but i never rode it for trials, i comverted it into a dirt jumping street bike, wasnt until i got my second hand da bomb for like 60 quid which was at the end of the summer holidays that i caught up onto trials, now i got a monty 230, soon to be upgraded to a koxx LB stock

10 quid for a pair of stickers?? and at that size for the zoo! haha, ripped there...
-
Get a new chain then!, maybe the tihinner one... jOefish

The demand for stickers on the forum has definatly boosted the amount of interest we have had to invest more into this company. And to be fair most of the stickers that come standard on the bikes look naff. Which is were graffics comes in to help with the graphical advantage over these naff looking stickers. I would be grateful if you could post a picture when you have them on your bike of the stickers to show the kind of quiality we provide. thanks jOefish

I think the python conversion to his name will look pretty sweet, especially in the colour aswell, but we'll see when it gets produced. jOefish

Is it the chain or front chain ring? jOefish

Which chain are you using? how tight do you mean by tight? jOefish

I've done it before, but i didn't have any of these fancy tools, but i had to do it with my dad, because he had to hold onto the cassette with a rag while i was hitting the lock nut with a hammer and a screwdriver, but basically you have a lock nut and you want to loosen it against the chain whip, so you're pulling the chain whip int turning the tool the opposite way...if that makes sense hope this helps jOefish

I'm getting a second hand LB, how comes they aren't very good?

Birmingham is an ace place to ride, i've been twice, and both times were amazing, first time was better, because there were other riders there, and was quite funny when some dude flattened his rim, it wasn't for him, but i still have the video on my phone... and of the 14 foot gap jump... wicked place to ride jOefish

Most of the chavs that lives round here i know, and even if they don't i will know someone that does, and to be honest its good to have chav mates, they might be annoying, or smell, or whatever, but when i had my motorbike nicked ages ago, some of my chav mates found it, found the guy who nicked it and nailed him I was glad it was my bike and not theres, because they are right aggressive dudes, but they are cool with me and my biker mates. you chavs know who you are, and i salute you, but to the f*cktard chavs, f*ck off yeah and this forum rocks, met loads of new trials bikers round my area now, well good
