That looks awesome. A huge thanks goes to Spenny from Briggs Bros Printing in Connonly for putting that together over night for us. They are donating the art work and all of the printing to us in aid of the chosen charity, http://www.briggsbros.com/ It is really comming together now, keep your eye out for more details, We have secured various sections and a haulage company to move them about for us as well, (cheers Hurman) I am hoping that we are being allowed to use some of the indoor Sheffield arena trial stuff. Whatch this space. Thanks again to every one involved so far. John and the team.

Yeh that is the kind of thing we were hoping it would be like. It is just a show case for you lads to try and out do each other. But all done in the spirit it is intended in. FUN Can't wait, it is gonna be very hard work for all involved but it will be worth it to see young Bens face. We will need as much help as possible from building, fetching and carrying, setting up ect. Oh yes, even if you are not the worlds best rider you will be mixing it with the worlds best, no matter how young or old you are it is gonna be a hoot, I am guessing that one of our little riders on a 205 will be winning the limbo, so every one stands a chance of winning something. Please do all you can to help make it a real top event. Thanks JP.
  10. 1 hell of a site chris nice work. JP
  11. Rob have you photoshoped that thatch on your head, I thought you were one of the baldies like me. Well done with the new deal pal. Good luck for 08. Get your ass up to Addingham for a bit of training, let us know when you are up this way. JP
  12. Nice one Ryan. Good luck this season, will we see you at some nationals this year? JP
  13. I went to this event a few years back and it was awesome, I will have to ask Mrs Pea if I can play out as it's my b'day on Monday so I might be a little worse for ware, you know me Ian a few stellas if you get my drift.
  14. Silsden, West yorkshire. The worlds in 05 were held there have a search you will not be dissapointed. JP
  15. Yeadon and Giesley motor club have been given the keys for Addingham moorside, the reason for this is that they have been given 28 days a year to hold events up there, I have spoken to them and agreed that bike trials does not fall into this agreement with the council. We can use this land when ever we want to, however the gates will stay locked unless we have a comp up there. The reason being is that if some body goes up on a motor bike this will count as 1 of their days. Tyke trial is planning to speak to Mr Fothergill (land owner) with the intensions of us paying to have a gate put into the land to allow access for bike trials. this will enable people to go and practice when ever they want to, you will not be able to park on the land however ther is a good size layby 100 yards away from the gate, so if you do go up you will have to park in the layby. All that we ask is that if you do go and use this legendary place please respect it as a lot of back ground work by many people has being going on for a long time. Please do NOT leave litter laying around and respect the parking issues as we do not want to upset the apple cart and loose it again. 1 last theig as well is, when old Mr Fothergill comes to see you please respect him and give him your £1.00 for the use of his land. And under no curcumstances take your motorbikes and dogs up there. Thanks to every one who has been fighting for this trials mecca it has been well worth all of the hard work. John P on behalf of Tyketrial.

  17. Depending on your age and ability, Turn up to a comp and watch it and see what level you think you can cope with, every club will have a route to suit you, we have kids as young as 6 riding but we cater for world class riders and every one in between, so to sum it up......... Turn up and have a do. Good luck here are a couple of links for a bit of info...... http://www.biketrialuk.co.uk/ http://www.ukbiketrial.co.uk/ http://www.ymsa-biketrials.co.uk/ http://www.biketrialuk.co.uk/TykeTrial.htm JP.

  22. We are holding the AGM for Tyketrial at the Black Bull in Broughton tomorrow at 8pm. It is your club and we value the input that you have. we will need help again this year to be the biggest club in the UK. These events do not run themselves as all other clubs like YMSA, Falcons, Hampshire etc club organisers will know, it is a real labour of love. If you feel as though you have any suggestions that may be of use to us but can not make it then feel free to post on here and we will do our best to discuss them tomorrow. If you don't want to post here for fear of ridicule from some people then drop me or Hurman (on here) a pm. what we really need is help from parents, girl friends , brothers/sisters........... you get my drift any help is welcome, signing on, marking out, sorting flags, fetching carrying, data base work, sending entry forms out and so on. Thanks for taking the time to read this, Happy and healthy new year to you all and good luck for the coming season. John.
  23. It will ride fine. We used to ride trials on old racers with 27" wheels, tracking cogs and cow horns!!!!!!! The handsom dog is a good strong stead and it will go up or down owt with the right man on it. JP
