Same username/ avatar here too. Not that i've been here that long, kinda I don't have much interest in trials since injuries decided to screw me over. But i'm to be slightly trials again.

Take England off that list, it doesn't fit in.

Smooth moves. You have the same style as Lukecockshot.

Great video from some great guys, or at least the ones i know Glad you made a video, was cool stuff going on. That gap to tree, pretty funny. Last line was balls out for sure!

Have to disagree, but it's personal preference on what type of sound you like. Goes without saying, drummers, DJs, and studio production all require something specified for their needs, but a good quality headphone is almost always going to over ride this against a cheaper specific model. I've 2 studio monitors and they're extremely different to one another. The (3x) cheaper model analytical but yet is extremely unbalanced, why would the more expensive have such a rounded off sound? Just because they smack a name on there, doesn't mean you can't use it, or use something else. I also use a hifi headphone for gaming instead of the dedicated gaming headsets, purely because it's better. It's like cheap trials bikes versus higher end xc bikes. I'd ride the quality XC bike over the low end trials bike.

Sennheiser and bright, i never thought i'd read that! Last sentence is true on all accounts, unless you want to look cool ofcourse. Any headphone is for any application provided you enjoy it. I read some stuff about them, and they don't seem half bad. I've listened to a few cheapo headphones and been quite surprised. Though in the office, they may get hot, that's something to check for. If listening to them for a long time, i'd probably drop some more cash. I would also consider in ears as they can be more comfortable with better soundstage versus the big over ears. I think you'll struggle to get a neutral sound at a lower price point, though i could be wrong i've not ever looked into that, but you probably don't want a neutral sound to be honest.

Doubtful. But if you plan on riding your frame, stickers shouldn't really matter. Bikes aren't supposed to look like a garden of flowers!

Last line was certainly very special. Brave guy.

Pretty big stuff going down here!

I have no idea what the hell is going on, why it's going on, or anything. I respect your efforts at these videos of something

Sums it up quite nicely. Though i did like that snow shot. Definitively have to use a buzz word for my next video, something like, eskimo's heroic journey. ..to the skatepark. [edit] Should probably add, these cinematic videos were good when they were on dvd. But now every man and his dog does it, it's just tiresome. Accompanied by the copy/ paste trick sections. urgh

I think when it comes to trials riders, they struggle with style in general when doing tricks, paired with the awkwardness of doing stuff the wrong way they do come out looking quite odd. I think rockwalks/ 360 dropins always look pants for example when someone on a long bike does them, not to say, done by the right person they do look good though. A good example regarding the goofy line up of moves being easier, a good friend who used to ride, x-up'd the wrong way. We were both lefties and lefty pegged. He could do the x-up coping grinds with ease, i on the other hand would almost certainly go hip to copin or slide out when we did games of bike. But i could come in from double pegs into x-ups, something that he wouldn't consider purely cause it was sketchy enough regular. But he never would have the disadvantage of doing other lip tricks to it, if he chose. While he could theoretically do double pegs and come in x-up'd, it wouldn't be flowed and would have to lift the front to before even dropping in, among turning the bars 270*. The same would apply if i were to do x-up double pegs, i'd have to disengage from the coping before even dropping in. If that's a mind boggle, don't worry. It's not a common trick While that took some serious bad explanation, i don't fancy doing any others! As for offering more lines, my examples are the people who ride the traditional 2 pegs/ 1 brake. As a 4 pegged 2 braked rider generally doesn't have any limitations to what they would like to learn but still applies as they do have the chocolate foot/side to quote Hans Rey. The sheer ease of the tricks being easier offers the extra lines. Pegs to easy way becomes even easier with goofs, allowing an extra trick/ lip trick and manual out. While hard way becomes harder, going hardway to/ with something else is hard to begin with regardless.

I gave a 40% positive comment I hate to disagree with the goofy riding Ali, but being goofy opens more lines. I think because you don't ride/ ride with bmx/ers you haven't taken into account what goofyness is done. Goofy spins, goofy pegged, goofy whipped, goofy bars, goofy turn bars. (Some people even turndown the same way they x-up, and x-up different to barspinning. I also know a guy who can only kickflip in switch). There is no pattern to who does each of those in any manor of ways. It makes tricks harder or easier, whether they be harder or easier can then become irrelevant because then they start new combos that are amazing, but because of that become untouchable by those who aren't goofy. And even when a regular rider can do that combo it looses all flow in comparison to the goofy rider. Imo the regular rider gets the cake, purely because it was a harder move. Just to throw another loop into it, opposite can become easier when in switch. I'm all for style, but i need 50/50. Good trick must be done good. Otherwise it's 'second prize' as Rowlands would call it.

Was alright, some huge gaps. Would of liked to see that escalator get ridden again! Can't stand euro dance music though

As said those X-minis are good value. The rechargeable battery in them aren't half ban either. You'd struggle to better for that kind of money.
-
It's the TF way.

Fully agreed. Started off good, that line was pretty sweet. Some good manuals and some gaps. But then it got all, well, as the others said. I also tried to give it's due, but couldn't. No fancy camera work can make that manual 180 better. Should also probably mention, 360 flyouts, leave them to the 14 year old skate park goers.
-
Because it pushes new videos off the front page for no reason except that person feels they must voice their opinion on a subject that is dead. Once is fine on a classic/ great/ remembered video. But not a several videos from the same rider.
-
Definitely not too many manuals. Some great lines, bounces and stuff. Goes entirely against what i said in the Ozonies video thread about 24"ers, but then again, you're not British. Good work!
-
Totally agree. They even lacked some basic trials moves. Definitely think 24" has gone backwards since Tim Pratt, Boon, etc move away from bikes/ trials. Just now it's Inspireds instead of Leesons. Definitely allot more variation back then. Shame most people think they're street as soon as they can do the 360 tap drops and footjam whips. No different to bmx though, "i have 3 pegs, 2" of seatpost, i am street"
-
I was expecting worse after reading the comments here and on bookface. Yeah crappy tune, but the majority of edits now do to, so i was expecting that much. It does seem there's a distinct lack of high end street trials riders around, in the sense of street being flow/ tricks/ etc. Just look at all the other 24" riders around here. Hate to say that guys, but i don't see anyone here doing some of them moves. I almost went, and if i had cracked open the mod, i would of have a good ride with them. But i can't deny it was a seriously lack luster edit, i just thought i'd pick up on some of the points i read. And i know it won't be the last lack luster edit i see here either.

There are a million bmx tricks to learn. That's only 2 plus multipliers. But in the current mindset, if no whips, it means you're shit. I posted my positive comment on FB a while ago, so this can be my negative one

Because it's cool to be, erm, well cool? I bought a flatpeak for cheap, was a nice Metal Mulisha one. Wore it once, felt like crap, but's that's cause it actually stuck to my head. So i guess you gotta have a hat that falls off to be comfortable. Just like women with undersized shoes that hurt their feet. You hear that, you're all women. But then again you all wear womens jeans, so what's new?

Back on Tea. Will give it up again probably though. Just another dirty addiction. I used to prefer Coffee, then i made the switch, then i quit. Now i'm back. It's also expensive. [edit] Which is better for you. I say neither. Both lead to excessive use, and needless spending. True it's got cancer preventing properties, but so has everything.
