You get upgraded to 1meg free, like it or not (next few months everyone is getting upgraded the guy said, people who ask get it first). Download limit it 3gb / month. Which is ample, and it's not enforced, you'd have to go way over it months running to get cut off.

I went from 350 to the 1mb over at mums house, didn't think it was worth the extra £7 a month for 2mb. Over at dads now on 3mb from 2mb (N) :D

It's pretty easy to find out most stuff about whats gone through your computer / net, unless your some kinda 'l33t h4xor' (lol) running on linux and smoothwalll with routers etc. To be honest, you'd have to be doing some pretty heavy stuff for them to give a shit. (mass copying, underage porn, hacking, something along those lines)

NTL cable services = pile of shit. For me the broadband internet isn't too bad once you get it up and running yourself, with your own settings etc. But the cable TV, my god what a pile of SHIT!! I swear to god they produce the remotes + boxes for 5p a go. We've had the engeer out so many times, new boxes etc, and it's just utter crap, it must crash every 5-10 channels, everyone i know on it around here has the same problem too.

Tis a cool ride :sick: Not the best coaster I've been on, but a good one. Though there is one 3x as tall and faster currently under construction elsewhere in the USA a the moment :lol:

If you quote already posted images they don't load again, it'll only download the image once, and be displayed on the page twice. The only instance that may not happen is if you have your browser on some crazy setup so it has no cash ( :blink: ) and the quoted image is on the next page... edit: damnit, fast bitch (Y)

I have the e800 the model down from the d500, and my mate has the d500. TOP phones IMO, wouldn't swap for anything else. The main advantage is the really compact size, and perfect screen. Contract = £££ though, 30x12 = £360, then say an extra £10 since there is only 50 texts per month in there, thats £480 per year, without insurance. I got my e800 + sim on ebay for £130, and just top up when I need :blink: The d500 goes for like £240 on ebay. Though if you want contract that looks like quite a decent one.

Ah right, your talking about printing! On your screen DPI doesn't mean anything, since your screen is a set DPI (depending on your monitor), so a 10x10px image at 72dpi is shown as actually 10pixels on your screen, but a 10x10px image at 288dpi, is just shown as a 40x40px image also at 72dpi, unless your printing the image the DPI means nothing, higher DPI = higher physical picture size, so, bigger picture.

Technially going from 5mp > 1mp will give you exactly the same res as just taking it at 1mp in the first place. MegaPixels are a physical size constraint, it doesn't reflect on the actual quality of the picture, downsizing from 5mp to 1mp won't give higher rez or quality. 1mp picture = 1 million pixels in the image (so PxK) 5mp picture = 5 million pixels in the image (so 5Px5K)

Thing is, thats true of almost ALL electrical goods. I mean, plasma TV's cost litrally nothing to make now, yet they are still sold at prices around £1500, and it's real OLD technology. The whole japanese / chinese / tiwan market is built like that. Hardly anything you buy in the UK, advertised as cutting edge or not, is anywhere near cutting edge in reality...

Thats true to an extent. But newer models are incorperating 1.5 megapixel cameras + full flash, and within a couple of generations of phone I'm sure they'll be on a par with cheap digi cams. The thing is, is how often do you just walk around with your camera in your pocket? I have loads of pictures of my phone that are fantastic, not because their amazing quality (they're not) but because they're just of reallly funny spontatious things, I'd never have captered otherwise. You could spend £10 on a cheapo phone yeah, but especially come the next gen of phones, you could spend more and have everything your ever likely to randomly need on the move in one package. After all, but the time you've paid for a cheap phone, a cheap MP3 player, and cheap camera, a cheap organiser etc etc you may as well just get it all at once in a phone, and carry only one thing around. Your probably right about them not being worth it at the moment, because the technology is still a bit shakey, but I'm sure come the end of this year the new offerings will be of a good standard...

The yaris averages about 50mph, Because it's japanese and got a good onboard computer and chipped engine management it goes right upto about 65mpg on motorways / freeways. On the screen in the dash it tells you your MPG in realtime, pushing it up through the gear box gives it the lowest, around 25, rolling along at 30 averages about 45, and freeways / national speed roads gives it about 60-65... It's only a 1.0 litre though, so not the fastest thing on earth, but very cheap to run! (Y)
