  1. Yea, philosophy is dialectic, as in, ask questions to further understand, then ask even more questions to get a better answer...and ask yet again, see if anything has changed. A philosophic system is an integrated view of existence. As a human being, you have no choice about the fact that you need a philosophy. Your only choice is whether you define your philosophy by a conscious, rational, disciplined process of thought and scrupulously logical deliberation -- or let your subconscious accumulate a junk heap of unwarranted conclusions, false generalizations, undefined contradictions, undigested slogans, unidentified wishes, doubts and fears, thrown together by chance, but integrated by your subconscious into a kind of mongrel philosophy and fused into a single, solid weight: self-doubt, like a ball and chain in the place where your mind's wings should have grown
  2. Hopping on your rear wheel is balance, you don't need to know how to do a pedal kick. I'll try to explain; To hop on your rear wheel you pretty much need to have a good foundation on track standing and actual hopping. Hopping as in lifting your entire bike of the ground, not a bunny hop, where the front wheel goes up, then you lift the rear, hopping as in hopping on things( curbs are the best, and low benches ) With hopping dialed ( :turned: ) you should be able to do a rear wheel hop, but doesn't mean you'll get it down, because the balance is on your rear wheel. To hop on the wheel itself, roll forward and hit your front brake lightly ( not enough to endo ) adjust your body so that you don't endo, and as your rear tire is coming down, pull up, as you're coming up adjust your body according to the height of your front wheel, so, if the front wheel is high you need to be high with it, almost standing up, if the wheel is low you need to be low, as in your butt needs to be hovering over the rear wheel. When your front is in the air and you have it balanced, hold onto your back brake with dear life, use one finger or adjust your brakes so that you can use one finger. One can use two fingers, but the pinky and ring finger do not have enough strength to hold onto the handle bars. Now in the air all you need to do is balance on your wheel, which has quite a few variables ( your handeness, your weight, your height, your center of balance, all of which you know, both conciously and unconciously ) To hop just bend down, then with enough pressure pull up so you hop with your wheel. You can get up on your back wheel in a variety of ways though. Ryan leech says the easiest way to do is on a 2 or so foot ledge ( to raise your front wheel enough to be able to bounce on your rear ) but, that sometimes isn't the case if you don't have trackstanding in good standing order. Pedal kicking forward is just using the rear wheel hop and balance while using the drivetrain to move the rear tire to propel you forward. To do this correctly, you're gonna have to hop, but not enough to get your tire off the ground all the way, just to relieve the pressure off the tire, so just bend down and get erect again, only with enough force to slightly lift the tire off the ground, then while the tire is not compressed but not airborne, kick the drive train, with the kick your front WILL come up further, so, with this, you need to crouch towards your rear once again, but then it will fall down, so stand up on your pedals again to counterbalance this so you don't land on your front wheel again. You won't get this right the first time along.. No one does.
  3. A Mock 24" GET IT???/ mod STOCK MOCK hahaha
  4. Since trials bikers are little f**king bitches on weight, and don't give a shit about money, or progressing their technique so they're adept on using heavier bikes; titanium bikes.
  5. Aligory of the Cave; Guys are blind entire life, and can't move. One guy is taken out, Will he leave or tell the rest there is more to life It's what the matrix is based heavily upon.
  6. To avoid headaches, use proper grammar. PLEASE. If you're wanking it and typing at the same time you need better time management, accompanied with psychiatric help.
  7. Philosophy is professional time wasting. Thinking all day. Really helps humanity. Then you get f**k heads saying "Why would do need to advance humanity?" Goddamn Cynic's, like Hobbes, and Locke. "I know that I know nothing at all" Then you wouldn't know that you know nothing. Oh, I get the joke Soccy, I get it. How about a bit of Decarte? He thinks therefore he is. Modern Philosophers asked the small questions and gave big answers. If you can ask "Do you want cheese with that?" You can be a philosopher, it'd end up like "What is the nature of cheese on a hamburger?" Or something intricate for the sake of intricacy.
  8. Yea, seriously, if you get a 180 or 203(over doing it, haha ) mm rotor with that thing its a wonderful brake. As a back brake it would be a pretty good one as well( especially with a 180mm rotor ). Look at this one; http://www.jensonusa.com/store/product/BR5...l+Disc+Bra.aspx (its an american website)its a dual piston mechanical brake, which is awesome, cuz dual piston brakes are generally hydraulic. and not a bad price for it either.
  9. You've got an interesting music choice for the video.
  10. Marketing and advertising. Seriously, marketing and advertising. There are plenty of products out there that do the same, for either less or more money. Magura just markets this shit well. And it ain't the f**king brake. People rode V-brakes for almost a two decades before disc brakes became all the rage.
  11. Take one of those pictures, put it on your computer, circle the area you are talking about, save the picture, upload it somewhere ( http://photobucket.com/ works ) and tell us what you are talking about.
  12. Maybe if you f**kers posted an answer to the blokes' question, rather than your assholish remarks and moronic opinions, perhaps we could get something done without wasting time. But, f**k all, you just gotta say "Ride stock, or you're a fag" What does that solve? Seriously. this was supposed to go into a new topic, but clicked reply rather than new topic. But you get my point.
  13. That just adds to the epicness ( not a word, is it? ) of it! Who makes that green frame? I like it.
  14. Still....29 inch bikes.
  15. So people call you a member of the East Germanic tribe that originated from sweden? sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
  16. most people in trials when referring to a rear brake, are referring to rim brakes.. I may be a newcomer to trials, but, I learned that most trials riders use rear rim brakes. So it is rather safe to assume. "Was wondering if the mavic D321/EX729 could be used as a rear rim.....so I searched and found a whole topic about it. Pics were posted by todge of his setup but they seemed to have been deleted. So if any one has those pics or have pics of their own setup of the rim with a rear brake that would be great. Also if any one has any info please share. On a side note, do mavic make the EX721 in black now ? the picture seems to be of a black colour link" I can read, and in that paragraph, it does not once say DISC. Other than in the D of D321. CAN'T YOU READ????!!...I felt like being a dickshit willy for a second.. Anyways... If DISC; Yes, they don't make rear specific rims, atleast, I don't think they do... they might say "be better for the rear/front rim" or something like that, but there's nothing that can stop a person from putting it on a back wheel... Other than reading others' opinions too much..
  17. Cut down on the linkin park... It's f**king 2005... For god sakes.
  18. How about the 29inch ones?
  19. Predominantly disc rims... You could try... But, I dunno, how well it would work.. Do you have it purchased already? Or are looking to buy one? If you haven't bought one yet, I recommend an Alex Supra-E rim, lots of sidewall for braking, and it'll last, even though its a bit hefty.
  20. I hate not knowing the face of the people I talk to. Here's my mug.. http://www.myspace.com/zoran You're big boys ( and girl(s) ) you can do it yourself.
  21. A buddy of mine has a planet x zebdi mk5 he wants to sell me ( along with some other crap ), are those dependable frames, and whats the tire cleareance on them? Cuz he doesn't know, he only used a 2.1 on it.
  22. yea, they need a mechanical systems engineer. Very highly trained one at that. I'm 18.
  23. you, poor dude was in a hit and run. Happens so often in my part of the world, its f**king ridiculous. Could happen to anyone of us. Some drivers aren't respectful of bikers at all.
