  1. chris Ratcliff the x MBUK Hip hop and section 7 geezer, i may have been travelling around cenral america for two years but at least test me (N)" . that brings my onto the reason i asked about pashley that you quoted, pashely were huge (well still are if your a post man) then they were gone without much noise, just wondered what they were up to trials wise.
  2. Libor Karas's world tour, is that the one that has a few Body count tracks on which is Ice T's band your last pargarath shows (i think) we both are trying to say the same thing im just crap at explaining. trials now has its own large market where as it never used to so videos where aimed at the Moutain biking industy and ther age thing i was remarking on is in the area where most video sales will be aimed at. im not running down the ages of people on here just stating a few life facts. i used to have about 15-20 mates who rode bikes BMX and Mountin bikes now i have just three. i have ridden all styles of bikes but have always rode trials first . refering to the first paragraph. not at all im just here for a bit of banter to help dull the bordem of work. whos digging a hole? shut up cocksuker
  3. typical responses for someone of your age (if that is your real Birthday on your profile) your still wet behind the ears, ive been riding 11 years now and have seen many changes in trials some good some not, i ride how i want to ride so dont say to me what or how to and to ask myself why i ride i was basically trying to say do what you want to do and dont and not what others do if thta makes you happy, i guess i dent explain tyhat very well. the vast majority of my friends are not bike riders but what i would call everday folk who look at what we do as an extreme sport basically because its different andd not mainstream. Like it or not trials is "cool" right now and many people on here when they reach 17-18 years old will stop riding once they can drive and drink in pubs etc or just simply get board, i have seen this happen many times and will contiune to do so this is why i used 16 year old as an example. Also you can use what music you like and when you have the editing skills and riders to go with it you can. i have an old GT video somewhere with Hans rey riding to send me an angel by real life. it was a promo video around 1991
  4. But the fashion and media of extreme sports dictates to us that this is what we must listen too to be like the others, so in essence we become like chavs . Im sure if you put and old classic on your MP3 player with some rhythm in it while you where riding you would find it easier to ride to than someone playing a guitar at 1000000MPH. Like you said though if it aint broke don’t fix it, well until you have gained more skills on the editing front anyway (N)
  5. i see what you saying but they manage it on skate videos and bmx too and at the end of the day trials aint exatly fast paced, i remeber and old props video with mike escamilla riding super smootha and fat to the moody blues? it is do do with fashion really as how many 16 year olds do you know who listen to classic rock like the beatles?. what im saying is that its aimed at a youth market as thats where they make there money so by putting in "in bands" they will increse there sales. bloody hell i sound like my dad :)
  6. i have seen a heard a few of the Who tracks on some BMX vids, but your right its normally what i would call fashion music
  7. that is disgusting (Y) i was after a picture of it built up properly in white not green :)
  8. got any pics from before the cut up/modify?
  9. saw one this morning done up into some awful suspension fork madness jump bike type thing. did anyone on here have on, i rmember they had a white one for trials and a red one for DS cost about 329 pounds i think?.
  10. Doing a 5 ft gap about 3ft up. It’s a great gap as on the other side its got a concrete slope away so you have to land in it on both wheels. I was on the one side on the back wheel eging forward ready to hop over the gap to the other ledge then just as i lunged forward the chain snapped , I went forward, the bike dropped and got my legs caught by the handle bars then the bike hit the far ledge and flung me down and into the slope and I managed to put my hands down andget into like a stuntman role and get away from the bike. I only ended up cutting my elbow. To this day I don’t know how I didn’t hurt myself badley :)
  11. <_< although id recommend learning wheelies first as this will help with the balance point and brake control of a manual
  12. Im from over that way, i live in Gloucester, which is about 10 miles away from Cheltenham. i ride more Natural stuff these days so usual head over to the forest of dean as theres loads of good spots to be found. which is about half an hours drive away. il be happy to show you around the street spots too. drop me a PM or something nearer the time <_<
  13. just found these on the net <_<
  14. white was Columbus tubing i think, and chrome was plain tange
  15. im confused now?. i had the chrome one and it was the best bike ever to ride just went where you wanted, im sure chrome was about 260 pounds for frame and folks but the white one cost alot more?? about 400 odd i think
  16. Im not sure?. i am sure they were different years though so slight modifications were done to each one i think ?????(Y)
  17. was the white sunn and Chrome sunn diffirent? i seem to remember the white one having slightly larger tubes (Y)
  18. i ment do pashley still make frames for sale as i aint seen anything of theres for a while??. nich pics though (Y)
  19. when i was saying about them trying to pass it of as there own, it was more a bit of banter between me and the guy at pashley at a show he was saying it was pashley i pointed out it wasnt and we both had a laugh about it. alot of my mates had BMIX's for jumping etc. think they were red or yellow as well (Y) yes the un painted pashley was at the bike show 2001 (Y). Do pashley still make there trials frames?
  20. my first set cost me 350 quid (Y) and they used to leak al the time, you would have to bleed them at least once a month as they used to get air in them so easily. quite suprised about the slaves too (Y)
  21. your kind of in the right ball park mate, the ones on the sunn im sure are HS22 and yeah they was just after the bulky as hell ones disapered of the shelfs. basically they was HS33 calipers and HS11 leavers ,still i remember when HS33's were about 350 quid a set (Y)
  22. on the Sunn im sure they are the ones back then that where middle of the range, they was the same as HS33 but had rubbish leavers. you could only get raceline yellow or john tomac reds (which were really orange) up intill about 2000 before they realised the quicksilver which i think was there millenium edition???.
  23. nice place slovakia, I think you might mnake a nice wedge on that investment what with all the benefits they will get after joining the EU last year (Y) . just had a flash back wasnt the blue maguras middle of the range, they was as powerful as HS33 bus didnt have the ajustable bit on the levers???? (Y) cost about 110 pounds or so??
  24. what this one? GT team Trials replica how much do you think it is?
  25. i remembver seeling my GT team trial for 200 quid because i wanted a profile 3 piece crank like Eddie tounge did on his pashley. the little git that had it gave up trials 3 months later (Y)
