  1. Koxx Ordered thanks for comments danny
  2. thanks Sam, i was wondering if anyone would remember that, Iv actually forgotten what i thought of it , which is why i posted. Good to hear ur gettin on well with yours. 99% settled on hydroxx Thanks
  3. thanks for the replies... keep em coming looks like the hydroxx is the go. If i get the hydroxx its a complete (Which would be my first all new bike in 5-6 plus years or more) and the karbon is just frame. So the hydroxx sounds like it will be much nicer all round. last bike was an ozonys , so looking for something fairly similar to that - so probly the hydroxx thankyou all for feedback
  4. i wanna try a ffw setup for a change with horiz dropout frame... so as topic description says lookin at either a karbon or a hydroxx (yes i can get one.. although most places are sold out). I know there is some geo differences, 25bb rise on karbon vs 45 on hydroxx and slightly shorter wb on karbon, but im wondering what people think of them? Strength of frame...? Ride...? etc... especially from people who have ridden both or either bike, feedback on hydroxx especially appreciated. looking at you porter, having ridden both. cheers danny.
  5. thanks guys... group hug? spins me out how little things affect me, when u get soo used to something being one way, when it changes it really messes you up. Well it does for me. anyhoo, all good. cheers
  6. done thanks.. i feel like such an idiot! haha all happy again now

  8. glad i could help ... try chainreactioncycles for magura red pads.. pretty cheap!
  9. cool video.. nice line @ about 1:20. first GU iv liked the look of too.
  10. for the past 2yrs plus iv used nothing else but koolstop reds on the front. works perfect for modulation and when u want it to hold (full pressure) it will! Silent too, which i find very useful for commuting inbetween trials spots. I gap to front and find i can either use it to stop fully then switch to rear or can half pull and use it to make a smooth rolling style transition. Cheap, Silent, Longlasting (iv only just changed em!) ... go for it. I use a very worn grind.
  11. i likes it however, i stil think the frames would be better/stiffer/stronger if there was more support between bb area and brake mount area on seatstays (ie like ozonys, coust etc) but yeh i know thats marts design and it works ok. stil both of my justice frames cracked around bb ... looks good though. better dropouts would be nice too.
  12. sooooperfly! it is pimppin geeenius... only thing for me personally is i think 24s look more dialed with slicker style tyres like dmrs or similar. big chunky thing like on the rear isnt my cuppa tea. but personal choice it is.. nice
  13. An extremely reasonable price of $300 australian plus post to uk (frame only is relatively cheap!) is about 150 pounds im guessing. Frame is original paint and stickers, no dints, remarkable condition and well looked after, loved and cared for. Been a 2nd bike most of its life with very occasional use. for 200 pounds il throw in the avid ultimate thats on it at the mo with pimpin ti bolts pm if interested... cheers danny
  14. get a proper Pashley.... frame is for sale too!
  15. alrite geez - yeah wud luv to see you back out ere bro. You know theres always room for you at my place and a big beer full of fridge lol!! will send you email soonio bruvva yeah the rocks are right by my front door as wayne said. He was out here in 04 tearin it up then akkers the following year, everyone loves it here. This ride was great fun, was awesome to see some new lines go down and great atmosphere, thanks to all who came up after the 2days of comp to ride. WE only covered about 1/5th the area too! Pat - yeah mate, come on up asap got most days off...soo free to ride! Thanks for postin the pics lew, hope to see you for another ride soon danny.
  16. totally agree - we need a better quality (forged not welded perhaps?) stem in this size. fingers crossed....
  17. hey matt..good to see its stil going the ol girl never got round to gettin mine sorted, should do though. Doubt any other 24" frame lasts that long. really well done to the curtis crew. wud luv to see a new vid sometime champ... cheers danny
  18. hahhaa alrite bro! Yeah more and more uk riders coming out, but yeah u were the first brovva. Miss you bro... cant believe it was soo long ago. Im meeting the dude thats over here.. lewis at the demo this weekend, should be cool will email you soonio danny.
  19. SOOOO NICE!!! well done on workin hard to get it.. will look good with some trialtech ti bolts hehe (soon my friend,..., soon!) Seriously luv these, cant wait to see one in the flesh, one day. enjoy it!! danny....
  20. WTF!!! YO! this is my local area.. Alex Heads Skatepark, Caloundra rocks and waterpark... I live here, we should hook up for a ride mate! Iv been down south the past week for the State of Origin Footy Match, but back now and can show you some other wicked spots to ride in this area.. dannyboy@biketrials.com
  21. im on a v!z ti bb at the mo.. 128. seems ok.. been about 6months soo far no dramas... but wouldnt get it if you big move rider or street dogg. go SKF or sommat..
  22. looks mint... from memory a proper seatpost helps to stop them from cracking... could be worth doing, if you're planning on riding it a bit. good to see old bikes gettin around. Iv got a pashley and a megamo radical (steel) both doing the honours.
  23. could be right.... il pull it apart and check it all again tomoz. Thanks for the help
  24. Ok, So iv had 3 kings over the last 10 years riding, but have forgotten what the internals are supposed to be like, so just after a check that everything is ok? My new hub, few months old, cleaned out grease today, and light coat of finiishline lube (as iv done on previous hubs), noticed that the spring tension on the inside of the hub seems to be rather weak, Is this normal? When i push splined part towards centre of hub, there seems to be very little tension on it. I am thinking that it needs more tension but cannot remember??? Secondly, when i put it back together, it makes crunchy noise as it slowly comes to a stop from free spiinning??? WTF!! Any help or advice would be tops. Iv spent two days trying to fix my bike and not really enjoying spending my holiday like this, so any help would be great Thanks Danny.
