just been browsing through the geos of the 2009 koxx 26" bikes. firstly am disappointed to see the hydroxx 2 has changed geometry from the current hydroxx. But, on 2nd look, Iv noticed its the same as the boxx! 1092 380 +50. Hopefully this will provide a cheaper alternative to the boxx for those peeps who wanna try that geo and possibly a stronger frame too. What would you do? buy the boxx or the new hydroxx... same geos, different looks. one has disc mount, one dont. Im not considering either, but its an interesting point i thinks.. Gotta say of the new sky range, the black sky seems to be the sweetest imo. What do people think of the new range? Likes/Dislikes??

i remember seeing petr kraus on his heavy tools wearin them and i wanted a pair... i have a very worn set, and a set of the first hebos too (bright pink and fluoro yellow!) I have seen them pop up time to time on japanese trials sites, good luck buying from them (all in japanese), i think the current hebos are probably just as good and a lot easier to get. Good luck finding some... Id sell you mine but theyre worn through at finger ends and cuff lol!!

definately hydroxx... though, u will have to get the hydroxx 2, hydroxx is out of stock! Iv had a carbon and i currently ride a hydroxx... the hydroxx is by far a nicer bike, stiffer and feels alot more responsive. but if shes offering anythign.. surely get a boxx

i drilled holes in his rim my koxx is longer than his koxxdays is not a fag convention i tapped it too hard and split his rim guys have single wall rims... girls have double wall (my personal fave )
-
thanks for the feedback yeah i agree normal mounts work fine and iv never had any probs and good to hear your experience is as i thought, that they're a bit iffy. danny.

EXACTLY!! spot on, the benefits are a more lively feeling bike, if that makes sense, easier to throw around and a much nicer feel imo too!
-
totally agree with QUACKERS... thought after years of using wide bars, narrower bars would feel weird and suck. But having gone from an ozonys with wide bars to a hydroxx with rage bars, .... the bars are 100% nicer. As for the bar/stem setup for ozonys, any 120x17 stem would be ideal such as trialtech, fsa 0s115 (no longer made, but superlush!) and get a rage bar or similar like monty and youll be laughin!! wide is overated, youll luv it..

Just curious to know from people who have the new tryall cncd brake mounts, if there is any benefits or performance advantages? OR is it simply just to make setting up the pads square to the rim easier??? I know its obviously not going to make the performance any better of the brakes... but im just curious to know why people use them? thanks .. please post up any disadv too if u have used them? danny

of those 3... trialtech, its an easy choice!!! but id also consider the tryall Rage bar... i use this one atm and absolutely luv it. bit narrower than tt bar, but suits smaller peeps.

Yo Wayne, talk to u soon. yeah send me back a msg on facebook bro. Hope things are coming together for ur return to oz trip!! Im loving the bike and agree with u and inur, grey wud be mint! the tt rims seem the way to go to, now to find some more moneys talk soon bro! danny.

thanks for comments, yup i luv it yeah totally... silver or anodized grey tt rims? I think either will look sweet, perhaps the grey will be nicer... any suggestions people..
-
well here she is, lookin sexy next to some old guy not so sexy nothing different, built straight out of box, the last one available - shipped from koxx shop in Paris. I am absolutely amazed at how well it rides, how nice it is on rear wheel, and how balanced/responsive it feels. the shift to FFW was a skeptical one, but soo far im totally stoked with it. Will change all bolts to ti soon, and possibly silver or anodized grey tt rims. Not worried bout modifying or changing anything in a hurry, it rides superbly and i luv her... awwww! comments welcome - about the bike only, leave the poor guy alone!
-
so... ummm how long til tartys offers the service of squaring out the holes in rims???? lol.

68x122 cool, thanks ... nice bike!

the ONLY one in Aus! that is built up anyways.. looks good matt, stil think higher front end would help. When i had my Ed Tongue (few yrs bk) had hope 110x10 stem and 25mm of spacers/stackers. nice pics!! he rocks on this bike too...
-
very nice.... good choice of parts/colours looks like it wud ride a dream too! just curious.. what size bb fits inspired?
-
really luv the trailstar! they are really nice bikes. fun too. makes me wish id kept my old red one from 2001. oh well, maybe time to reignite the xc vibe. great bike! nice build!
-
exactly what i think too.. i always check this when building bike for myself, and adjust bar/stem/spacers as required.
-
function over fashion email tarts for a comparison, as they have red hope hubs etc in stock..
-
exactly how i feel too... on top of this is a natural progresssion that occurs too, u get better, u want a better bike, then it costs more and everything is constantly being repaired, upgraded etc. I spend loads of time worrying about where the money will come from. ATM im currently living with$4 in my account til end of the week, due to new bike purchase. Its neverending. But!! 10mins on the bike and its all worth it... so i keep doing it. Trials is Life ... for me anyways

iv downloaded this one and love it! a nice change from the in-your-face style of vids that seem to bombard forums 90% of the time. very cool angles and nice editing. really like the feel of the vid, getting to see the whole show not just the biggest moves etc. Nice one Wes! actually makes me wanna get out on the bike and ride too, which is always a good thing after a video. thanks for posting and good work on getting trials some tv coverage!
