New parts have made it sweet and a new 15t cog will sort outya gearin for sure rear tyres a specialized something..? Go for the yaabaa 1499 mate - as we discussed, great geo, not stupidly long and shud be strong enough. dunno bout another 3yrs u burly beast!! or maybe even look at the ATOMZ!!! i think this wud be a great option too. Ride mitches or Sams at nats and see how it feels. both are nice!!

HOOOO HAA!!!! now thats outta control right there luv tha build, specially the trialtech bits... good job! bit jealous of ur work area... be good to see how this holds up compared to the boxx considering frame weights are fairly similar if i remember right. control yourself mate! top lookin bike

absolutely perfect mate! loving the sticker work and nice jobb on the mounts and levers. good to see bike holding up well too. .,.. may steal some of those ideas

i had the same prob with the same cog... VIZ! took it off and put on a surly and problem fixed, never got around to tryin it on anything else. if u can.. id piss it off and go for a more "reliable" product

love this bike... imho dont respray.. keep it gettto!! first bike since my ET that makes me miss 24"
-
i cracked 3 ribs when building, i fell off a plank and fell about 9foot onto a round metal handrail (hands went either side of the rail - landed on my ribstaking the full impact) took about 6-8weeks as best i can remember.... imho dont be in a rush to get back on the bike. as with any injury its better to be 100% confident than 99%sure.

thanks guys, have stopped pullin wheel apart. so will go rip cog off tomorrow.. no dramas! yeah very noobie, sad thing is iv ridden trials for 11years and mtbs for another 5-6 ontop of that. ... think i just pulled a Homer!!!
-
ahh right thanks for the quick and useful replies... much appreciated. i surprise myself at how obvious that was and how dumb i am (@ times!!) edit - just realised why i couldnt figure it out... i was thinking how to get the cog off the hub alone, not the whole wheel. Note to self, dont pull wheel apart before gettin cog off!!!!!!!!
-
Gotta pull my wheel apart to build new tryall single wall rim.. have to remove rear cog to lace up spokes through hub flange. I have realised that Koxx didnt use any grease on there and im worried it wont be an easy task to remove the rear cog? Any tricks .. tips ... advice??? any help greatly appreciated danny.

thanks guys... will go with the wellgos, my vps are gettin hammered i get the shoes for cost price so not too worried bout howlong they last, thanks for you help!

Iv really enjoyed my NorthWave Shoes and vp style pedals... the grip has been absolutely amazing. Never even came close to slippin off and very confidence inspireing. However, after about 5-6 times reglueing the sole back on, they have finally given way.. and im considering getting some Tryall shoes for a change. Im not sure what pedals will work best with the Tryalls to give best grip. Im considering replacing the vps with some wellgo mg1s which i used to use but first would like to hear from people which works better with these shoes??? Thanks.. appreciate info from people who ride or have ridden in these shoes
