  1. good work on gettin the idea going ali, .. maybe we can all contribute a bit more directly - its easy to ignore 1 person, alot harder to ignore a whole market. either a petition of people interested (and more?) in a new orange zero frame... or perhaps we should all start emailing them asking when they doing an updated zero?? its just a suggestion. personally as with shrewsbury on geo. a short street bike with a saddle would be awesome and would allow them to use similar design to the zero/hitman. danny.
  2. oh man.. iv got a bunch of pics of ur bike.. must have been from the first time ushowed em. saved on my old pc. its as nice as ever! always wanted one, after my et.. but never got one. shame. gorgeous bike!!!
  3. awesome - good job! glad the chainline wasnt an issue... worried me at first glance. great bike, and probably loads stiffer stronger now win win!
  4. awesome pics... thanks soo much for taking them and posting them up! all the skys look mint! Black one for me though, and if i had the money a red one too! as someother people have said... would love to know the geo of the new stem.. looks a bit higher rise maybe to accomodate the plus 50/60 bb bikes. Im really impressed with the new koxx stuff.... eagerly awaiting to see them on tartys, be interested to see differences in reach measurement too. thanks for posting!!! danny
  5. awesome vid! riding looked fun and some creative and fresh lines... makes me wanna take today off work and go ride. always enjoy your vids... keep em coming
  6. eating bananas during comps helps.. dont ask me how or why, but it works a treat! Last comp i rode, i cramped up soo bad took 2 fives, then ate a banana and waited bout 10mins, rode next section on a 2. Not great lol, but better than another 5. I find too that relaxing helps alot and try to flow more / less brake squeeze helps longevity before cramp sets in. good luck with it. i know its a curse for quite a lot of riders.
  7. wanna see pic from otherside - see the disc mount/brace area. this could be a very tempting bike, if i ever went to rear disk brake.
  8. mmm SKY (Snap & Kill You).. onlly time will tell i guess
  9. total geeeza!!! :)

  10. had the original ones years ago that were given to me from chris russ (then 2/3yrs later he sent me an invoice for em... wtf???!) not to mention he did the same to the top riders in the country at the time nick/dan pierce. but thats on the side, the pads were ok til they got dusty (a common problem in oz) and they turned to shit - people who went to aykays fassifern comp will remember this well my 2c is this - we have soo many good/great pads already in the market, i doubt theres a real need for yet another, imho il stick to cousts, koxx and heatsink pads anyday!!
  11. lookin good - i have just found my old black ashton seat - if you want it , its yours. a couple of the plastic bits are broken off (where the bolts go through) but could probly tape or ziptie it on maybe???? anyways, nice bike!
  12. yeah id love to use the contis ... unfortunately they dont fit - too high profile tyres - i run out of dropouts, as i and another hydroxx owner have found out thanks - il try get it weighed soon
  13. and then the very last frames were resprayed again with "Kleivard" and Kenichi Iwasa from Goldrush Japan bought the lot and sold them off. Colour scheme was god awful - but would have looked quite nice with the old fluro yellow/pink monty suits rofl!
  14. Thanks for the positive comments Yes i live on the Sunshine Coast , Australia. Its always amusing and makes me appreciate it more, when i get uk visitors, they always leave wanting to come back/stay cheers!
  15. expensive and snap happy - made famous by riders like JJ Gregorowicz and Martin Kleivard. Actually, i prefer the first gen ones with square downtube, but no less snappy! sexy though
  16. two pics of each of my two fave bikes....
  17. thanks, proper pics now uploaded... like this (more on otn)
  18. http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/showthrea...8665#post558665 apologies for dodgy mobile pics - but u get the idea. new rims, bolts, booster, levers, white maggies etc feels amazing!!
  19. sweeet build ! they ride soo nice too. o ye and for those interested - spotted a red ashton on ebay.co.uk today.
  20. totally agree!!! shame hes obviously more concerned bout following market trends and the pursuit of light snap happy koxx-like frames lol! anyways yup, i feel like a right twat too, cuz i was the importer (aus) for echo/zoo back then and had many of these frames - but didnt keep one for myself! Guess its one of them things - you dont realise at the time how good they are, and how gay bikes will become in the future. oh well... im patiently waiting
  21. totally agree with Ali.... but, beware the Rubber Queen doesnt fit in all frames - very large profile! check first if possible
  22. seekin a top condition echo pure 2004 long frame. will pay top moneys.... ivposted also in wanted forum, but im curious to know how many are left out there, so i know what sorta odds im up against!! cheers danny..
