  2. you should be ok with it.. as luck would have it. I ride a pashley also! Switching between it and my koxx karbon (now sold - to be replaced with ozonys) its not too hard. Takes me bout 15mins each time i get on the bike to get used to it. go ozonys danny..
  3. personally id go with the ozonys.. oh wait i am! from what iv heard, its incredibly stiff, lighter than the atomz and has some great design features (read about it on tartys) Have spoken to some people who ride em (waddy, stan, porter) - nothing but great things to say bout the ozonys and very responsive frame design. Imo the atomz is fairly plain in comparison, but i am biased cuz iv already sorted out my ozonys from bruno hope that helps a little.. Danny
  4. looks gud am curious.. i know lots of moto trials guys go to biketrials , does it work going the other way ? Isnt it alot more clutch work etc... Just curious bout how people go making the switch to a moto?? cheers D@nny

  10. thanks i currently use the big betty in GG compound... is ok for trial and gives lively feel to bike by saving almost 400plus gms over tryall. Rubs like shit in my current frame, but im sellin and lookin at an ozonys, i just need to make sure itll fit with adequate room cheers for helping me out danny..
  11. just an easy question for Waddy or anyone else who knows??? Have heard he used a Big Betty on Koxx Rim in a Ozonys. Im keen to know how much clearance was there? any rubbing?? thanks danny..

    Half Baked

YO Clem!! good to see you kept the leeson bro! Awesome riding.. streety skills! Its a good thing you didnt sell it to me... I would have never made it look soo good. Danny.
  15. thanks for the replys.. im really keen to know if tyre rim combo fits on xtp frame? anyone? been tryin to find pics of xtps to see if anyone runs this combo... thx
  16. anyone use this tyre/rim on a xtp?
  17. I Recently switched my rear tyre from tryall to big betty. Am really happy with the BB performance, but having some issues with clearance on koxx rear rim in koxx frame. Im just curious which frames people have that are using a koxx rear rim with big betty... If its just my frame which is narrow? So if your using a BigBetty rear tyre on a koxx rim (or similar width) please post what frame your riding and how the clearance is. I have less then a mm on either side! its a real bitch thx in advance.. danny.
  18. iv had two sets of hamiltons... very good pedals. Get the sealed ones and u got no probs! Comes with spare pins, strong body, held well for doing pedal grinds and even learning pedal stalls!! I had a set on my aitken, and a set on my later edwin.. both held up longer than the frames did! Id only suggest maybe looking at FLY BIKES Ruben's ... these things are tuff, and look a ton better designed imo. If u can get the sealed hamiltons at a good price do it ... comes with a mad stencil for your animal represent taggin! danny
  19. of those frames u list... id go the pure. most reliable out of them imo. or BT raven, Toxsin..
  20. have used those bolts and had no problems. For the head to snap off there has to be some resistance somewhere. You said it was only half way in... so there should be no resistance, the only thing i can think of is that maybe it wasnt in perfectly straight??? other than that it should go in smooth, no resistance til its all the way in. i definately wouldnt blame the bolts though.... good luck with gettin it sorted.
  21. same... yeah was ridden by brian hong i think. gotta say if that frame had a seat id be keen. superlight too, would be a fun little bike for sure. . bit like the old justice mk1. them things were light as and cud just throw em around no dramas til they went snappy snap snap.
  22. ^^ thanks dude ^^ bb was already in when i got the frame. got the chain sorted.. did wat u said. was well n truly stretched! So now im got my 74 kingz hangin way down . one thing i luved bout it before was how it was tucked up under the stays... yet if i takeout 1 more link the chain doesnt fit. Shitty but working ps - iv snapped a kmc chain in less than a year. wipperman last way over a year... il stick with wippermans thx
  23. snapped a chain on the weekend. my much loved 804 wipperman which has lasted almost 4years and been joined/rejoined in numerous places lol!! did really well to last soo long imo. So i scored a free 911 superlight wipperman chain from sponsor today and counted links to same length as snapped chain. But when i put it on it didnt fit!! Was too tight. So im curious, does the link length change between 8 and 9spd chains... as thats bout the only conclusion i can come up with??? 2nd problem.. My bb is loose and my Race Face ISIS bb tool doesnt seem to be long enough to reach the cups to tighten it! Do i need a specially long one for tryall bb's or am i forgetting something?? any tips or advice would be great!!! im going to try and get another 804 chain tomorrow or similar 8spd one to see if it fixes problem, but stil need bb tool advice. THANKS
  24. seems like too many people dont know bout keita and think hes some new kid on the block. The guy stayed with me (in oz) for bout a week in 2001, while out here for the x-games (which he won on a clean!). As a junior he won a world round beating benito ros (back in biu days), used to hold the world record for gettin up pallets (check biketrials.com), he ended up finishing 5th in the world overall. He has always been supported by the infamous Kenichi Iwasa who has been around this sport supporting good riders since day one. Kenichi wrote and edited the now discontinued Japanese trials magazine Will. He runs the Goldrush website which distributes most trials stuff in Japan. A great guy and a wealth of knowledge to pass on to younger riders. Keita has been around a loong time, im amazed at how much his skill is slept on.... He has amazing technique and skill. I can still remember him doing bunnyhop supermans on a megamo mod as we rode the streets around homebush in Sydney. Deserves alot more recognition and respect! Danny.
