Got a DVD burner? Compressed videos are appauling to watch and if you need the room on your comp its best to just burn it to DVD. And in case you don't have any burn software, I found this one pretty good.

Looky here Will convert the file to whatever you like. I also have a Total Video Player that came with my version. Not sure if it comes with that one but if it does, it should play the file as well.

Total Video Converter. Unfortunately its not free but that's an unrestricted 15-day trial. Very useful tool though and so far I haven't come across a video file it doesn't convert (But it defiantly does convert .vob files).
