  1. I have been watching Season 2 24/7 for the past couple of days. I really have loads of work to do as well, but I can't stop watching it
  2. Maybe the PPI drastically hiked up the repayment amount? So sold as a lower rate loan but then with PPI tacked onto it
  3. It used to live in the safety of an Isle of Man garage, so it didn't need anything to look after it. But considering that for 50% of the time it's been parked on the road in the UK it's almost been nicked I'm definitely going to get a more aggressive looking lock. Even if it means I have to take a 10kg chain everywhere I go!
  4. Cheeky motherf**kers tried it again tonight! I'd parked my bike right outside my flat 20 ft away from my lounge window and had put my bicycle D lock on the front wheel as well as having a disc lock on the back. I was waiting for my mate to get home so I could move the bike to his and off my road, so in the mean time I was behaving like the US Army's finest ranger and sat sentry in front of the window all evening. To my shame, I moved into the comfort of the sofa and out of eye line of my bike, but I heard a van ticking over at half 11, and stuck a head to the window to see a transit on the road with one pikey inside with the back doors open and two other c**ts trying their best to move my bike. Making like the finest of English gents, I ran out in my slippers and gave them my finest "Oi!" and I've never seen people scarper so quickly. I threw one guy to the floor which resulted in him dropping my bike and the other hopped in the van. I tried to get the number plate, but went to the wrong side of the van, and by the time I'd gone back to the other side, the fella I threw over had jumped into the back of the van and they started to drive off with the back doors open which resulted in me taking chase like the T1000 trying to get abreast of the van so I could see the number plate. I only got the first two characters unfortunately and got back to a bike with a now broken brake lever and stuck throttle The bike is now safe, and is in my friend's dining room and my dad's coming tomorrow with a van of our own. f**king pikey bastards.
  5. Well I've got it back. It looks like it's been through a coalmine and is covered in fingerprint powder, so I'll have to wash it before I can see if they've damaged the fairings. Aside from that, they've broken the steering lock and broken something on the rear brake as well, since the caliper's gone loose. I can see the mount that's been damaged, but I have no idea what's missing/broken that's caused it to become loose.
  6. Got a phone call 30 minutes later from the police saying they've recovered it!! Fair play to local constabulary. Not too sure on the details yet, but I can only imagine they'd thrown it into a van and been pulled over on the way to Pikey HQ. I'm chuffed to say the least. Not too keen on the £120 recovery fee though. And the £20p/d charge. It turns out it wasn't cheaper to come back to uni on my bike
  7. Motorbike with not even 1k miles has just been robbed off the road. I only brought it up to uni for the week. f**king c**ts.
  8. I'm not massively up to date on all things computer, but I'd be severely disappointed if the boot/login times weren't like that with that kind of spec. Regardless of it being a laptop/Linux, that is a quick machine.
  9. Just import all your footage/desired footage from the card onto your pc and you can format the card in the GoPro itself
  10. I think the instincts bore into me from uni fire alarm drills would kick in. Get some warm clothes on and grab the ipod. It's well shit being tired and standing around outside in the early hours of the morning and I don't really have any prized possessions that aren't in the garage.
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_YZ125#cite_note-jday-1 Race bikes as opposed to road bikes, probably!
  12. I think it's impossible for anything to be outstandingly gay on this forum
  13. No, he's almost exactly like that irl. I haven't seen too much of wheeler dealers, but in fairness to Mike, he's a good guy and can be quite funny at times. Although I did once give him a chilli from my curry and he almost died chewing on it. I've never seen a man suffer so much.
  14. Didn't think it sounded quite right, but I put that down to the fact I wasn't quite sober
  15. f**k sake, can't really remember what I wrote but after an hour of sitting there I sent the most retarded text message ever and definitely made things awkward. I'm such a twat. Don't drink and text kids.
  16. f**k me, you specced it all yourself? I'm honestly surpsised that the CPU fit the motherboard! Seriously though, I can't imagine the exctiment you're having now you've got such a big free upgrade!
  17. Well this has made me laugh quite a lot. Jeeeeez. I thought it was all over with the unused graphics card, but the monitor resolution just creased me up big time
  18. Meet you boys off the boat in Douglas?
  19. Bake your bike into a loaf of bread? Can't ride a bike if it's bread, nomsayin?
  20. Bah, do what my dad did. We have miles of ethernet in the walls and floors. All around the house there'll be a discrete little hole with internet coming out of it.
  21. Just got an email from Microsoft - pretty sure Netflix will work without a gold account now.
  22. I agree entirely. I didn't really read up on it at the time, but I don't think I really know what a hazard is? Like I'm obviously watching vehicles in a 360° arc around me and I know each one is a hazard if it hits me. People running along the road beside you - hazard, pulled over car - hazard, road works - hazard, braking vehicle (which doesn't actually count) - hazard etc. The road's f**king full of hazards ffs. And it's proper ambiguous when you should click. Because I definitely saw most of the hazards before they started the scoring for them and it can't be based off when you'd have to make evasive manoeuvres or change direction either, because they don't in the video. Besides, I did my car and bike theory on the same days and the hazard perception section for them was largely the same which made the bike theory rather trivial.
  23. This is no place for your sickipedia jokes. Though I did have to send that to people the other day.
