  1. I think it's been established that he's not the Stig. Schumacher would have just came along with the FXX and Top Gear decided to 'unveil' him as the stig to get everyone watching the series again. They even said at the end it was a joke.
  2. You talk some crap. Bigger wheels are better over rough terrain than smaller wheels and bigger wheels roll quicker than smaller ones and are faster than smaller ones with equivalent gearing due to the larger circumference. The only advantage to smaller wheels is that you can have a smaller frame/bike.
  3. YO MAMMA'S SO HAIRY, ALL SHE SPEAKS IS WOOKIE!
  4. Forza 2 is more than addictive. Must have been playing for a few solid hours now ...
  5. Yeah, hence "Obviously in real life, this isn't going to do anything." I think it's completely whack that the governement have paid him any money, any shape or form. It's a good concept idea but completely impractical because it only works assuming an attacker can only get his hands on one of these knives.
  6. Yeah, was thinking that, so it's spoilered. But yeah, it would be unbeatable revenge.
  7. Don't read if you plan on watching....
  8. Actually, I don't think the design is getting the credit it deserves. Obviously in real life, this isn't going to do anything. But the design actually looks like it would work quite well. The rounded edge would be hard to stab through clothing and the valley between the round edge and the blade would hook onto material, so if you did penetrate the blunt edge through clothing, the blade will get hooked when it gets to the valley. Looks fairly swish to me. But only really if you're wearing tough material/the attacker doesn't go for your face.
  9. How come no-one told me Forza 2 had such an ace soundtrack. Would have bought it sooner.
  10. Season 13 is coming! Youtube Video -> Original Video
  11. I like the way that black text is used to maximise the contrast between the name of the frame and the frame itself. Really presents itself in a contemporary style.
  12. Is it? Meh, last time I checked all the Onza mod headsets were internal and there wasn't an external onza headset on Tarty, so I assumed it was the same. And if the forks that came on the 05 T-Pro are anything to go by, the standard Onza forks are shockingly heavy. Like ridiculously so. And if he's buying a new frame to improve his riding as opposed to looking flash on rides, I'm sure he could appreciate that a new set of forks is a lot cheaper and will make a massive difference in his riding because the front end would be immeasurably lighter and the bike will be easier to control and on the back wheel. But if he wants to spend £300 on getting a new frame 6 months after getting a new bike then my words shouldn't stop him. Just seems a bit backwards really.
  13. Mine and manxrider's Tensile's have been fine. AFAIK they haven't skipped once. Granted we don't ride often but over the course of 3 years I think it's fair to say that if it's still going strong, you TGS chumps are just too hard on your cranks, trying to be like Damon Watson. But if you really don't trust Tensile, I can say stay away from the 108.9 Try-All. Just for reference, there was video of a Koxx rider (Vincent Hermance maybe?) at a comp with his freewheel making horrible noises and munching about. And if Deng's attempt at freehubs is anything to go by, leave the Echo freewheel alone.
  14. Bashplate won't fit and you'll need to get a headset with external bearings, as the Onza headsets are internal bearing and are too big to fit into the headtube. But really, why you buying a frame? You'll absolutely ruin it with that frond end. I'd seriously recommend buying new forks and stem over a frame or at the very least buy them at the same time, if you can afford it.
  15. I think Pimp That Snack holds the real beasts of obesity. Case in point: A 28000 calorie Pot Noodle that I really want. Now more need be said after "Ingredients - Bin....."
  16. When I was going to the gym I only ever tried bench at 72.5Kg, Squat at 90Kg but could be heavier and deadlift at 140Kg
  17. I did it but got caught up in school and rugby so wasn't on it very long. I had been to the gym previously so for the most part, so I'd already been through my noob gains but developed a lot in 5/6 weeks of doing it. I was doing it when I was 15/16, (now 17) so I've naturally grown and developed since then but I've never looked as good or been as strong as I had been when I was doing Rippetoe's program. And that was without supplements - just eating more and drinking 2 pints milk at lunch times Mon - Fri. I would really recommend it for a beginner to lifting because of the simplicity of the regime and it targets your core heavily and aims to quickly improve base strength levels, so gives you the ability to extend your program and introduce new lifts once you've decided you've finished with it.
  18. I've heard of the atomic clock experiment. Where two atomic clocks were synchronised and one was put in a bullet train and the other was left stationary and the one in the train returned slightly behind the stationary clock. I think people are misunderstanding time. Believing it to be something we have created in order to understand the world. But time is a functional dimension of the universe which has bearing and meaning and can be affected by things like gravity.
  19. Loving it Mike! It's the best mix I've listened to of yours but that may just because I prefer the genre. And your track was perfect. I enjoyed it and if I wasn't reading the track listing when it came on, I wouldn't have been able to pick it out as an 'amateur' production. All very smooth
  20. Nah, nice and sunny here But please. Stormes? Really?
  21. I dunno, it might get annoying after a while. Let alone stale and repetitive.
  22. I'll get on the add then - Manx Lock in case you're wondering.
  23. Everyone playing CoD 4 same time tonight then?
  24. As an example for the tit that clearly doesn't get evolution; look at black people. We'll take Africa for example. Now, you could either say that God put black people there, white people here, yellow people just round here etc. Or, you could say that white people living in the plains of Africa tended to die from skin cancer. Now, we know our body's response to UV rays is melanin. A dark pigment in our skin which absorbs UV rays to stop them from mutating our DNA. This is where a tan comes from in the summer: melanin being released into the skin. So, in Africa, harsh open plains of sun and UV rays, people with low melanin levels would have quickly been killed by UV rays where people with higher levels of melanin lived longer. As such, they bred more until you reached a breed of people with melanin levels so high they are always black. That, in a very basic form is evolution right there. And it required no intervention from a higher power.
  25. Pretty much what I was going to come back to but I'm too tired to be bothered to structure myself properly. But outside our universe, our laws and principals can become null and void as they are only substantiated by what we've seen within our universe. So outside of our universe, literally anything is possible.
