Not concerned at all? That could be from a period of not running regularly so the oil drained from the head and the first few rotations of the cam where dry?
Its the lift that I'm not settled on too. The bonnet has been metalflaked so that'll be staying as im quite chuffed with the finish, I just cant get a good photo of it.
Its just on -40 'sport' springs over the standard shocks at the minute. I'm contemplating using it as a daily over the current pug 106 so I didnt wanna just straight onto coilies just yet.
This thread needs more pictures of your porka dude, and Robins 'rocco.
I'm undecided on the bonnet...I think it maybe a little bit too 'modified my mums ford focus'...?
Failed!
Main beam tell-tale in the dash, brake pedal rubber, binding on nearside rear drum and offside headlight aim too high. Leisurely fix tomorrow, retest monday morning.
Well obviously I wouldnt use all of it all in one go all on one project. That would be silly. I could make two 50 tonne ones??
What would be best? Ally, stainless or mild?
It clears. Its now mounted the same way but upside down. Supposedly it affects the pedalling charactersitics depending on which way around its mounted..I couldnt tell a difference either way.
Anyone in here opting for proper snow/winter tyres on the daily this year? I've never tried any before, wondering wether they're worth the price considering how feeble british snow usually is.
How does prawns car compare to stuff like that yellow seat, which look like it sees only dedicated track use, where as the A3 sees daily use too? Is there a road-going compromise in the A3s build?
