Its a vinyl yeah, was relatively easy to do just time consuming, getting the profiles right and relatively matching around the welds/joins/angels/folds etc etc was a right pain. Well chuffed with the results though. Had its first run out with the new color scheme and set-up today and it felt lush on the trails, even just knowing the bike looks awesome made it more enjoyable to ride!

Are you the young lad I spoke to at the uni a while back?

Gave it a service too, fresh oil in the forks and greased a few bits, sorted a few rattles and squeaks, should be lush on the trails once again!

I think, after much consideration and sore fingers, I'm gunna leave it like that.

Me and boats have been in and out of there a rather large number of times. I was a childs hospital and an elderly persons home and I think also war veterans in its early days, with only a small amouont of rooms set aside for patients needing 'extra' care. I used to work with a woman who worked there, its not been closed that long. No ghosts, no ghouls, no nasty stories of experimentation or torture. You're just a big girl. Also, did you find the enterance to the basement? If you wanna spook yourself thats where you wanna be going.

Cleared rushes completly from the top and done Ambers rooms set, from the top into the 2nd set and cleared the bottom set. Cleared them all the way through the uni and the KFC set too. Loughboroughs just not challenging enough.

You show me a big set in loughborough and I'll show you it being done.

Can I come on my downhill bike?

I'd say 5" as a minimum! On trails such as cannock chance and the more hardcore dh routes I can easily use 6"+ of an available 8" on my patriot. If you're looking to hit big drops and lairy jumps and transitions you'll be grateful for the extra travel, especially at speed.

Looks tidy! And a laugh! Seen it done to a few MTB frames over on pinkbike, looks a right lark for winter!

For something that you can ride straight away and do reasonably well you need to be looking at sort of £500 - £700 straight off the bat. Best thing to do is get on pinkbike and look in classifieds, stick your budget in and see whats available. I started on a cheap Specilized FSR and to be honest compared to the Patriot it was a waste of time, totally the wrong bike for the job, so best advice is to get something suitable.

Those pictures hardly do the color justice! With the gloss lacquer on its soo bright to look at out in the sunshine it makes your eyes squint a bit. I just need to coat it in mud now..

Aup, Picked this beauty up recently. In love. I wouldn't expect too many changes to occur just yet, I shopped around for one with all the bits on it that I wanted already. Excuse the mud, I'd just literally got back from a quick play at some local trails.

Yeah..Sitting in a crowded, hot, Aids smelling waiting room for 17 hours catching more death and diseases, that sounds like just what I need. Effort taking the time off work to get to the doctors anyway.. I figured the internet could provide all the answers I need..I bet all the answers the doctor would give me are online somewhere anyway.
