  1. Hey man, what's the riding like up in Gloucestershire?
  2. Just in case switching sides doesn't help, it's always worth looking at your technique and seeing if there's anything you can tweek there that will allow you to get extra height. When I first started side-hopping, I used to kick so much that i'd forget to pull up on the front meaning I could only hop about wheel height. I looked at my technique, noticed I wasn't pulling up, started pulling up and doubled the height I was side-hopping within minutes. There's loads of videos on youtube about how to sidehop and tips on getting extra height. Keep us updated man.
  3. Hey James, My first bike was an Onza T-bird, which I found was really reliable and easy to learn the basics on. I've now got an Onza T-mag mod has never let me down either. A few of my friends ride onzas aswell and they all seem pretty happy with them. So, I'd recommend Onza all the way. But then again, i've never rode anything else so i've got nothing to compare to. I agree with you aswell that you get more for your money with mod than stock - there's also less parts on them to break, they're usually lighter and they're easier to learn on (which after 6 years of not riding, i'm guessing you'll need to re-learn a few of the things you used to be able to do.) Keep us updated on how you get on Welcome back
  4. Used to have a peugeot speedfight 2 and then passed my test so got an xr250 - its a bit old but I like it. Any one else gonna get a full bike license?
  5. Mate, I live in Bristol myself - I recognise most of the places in the pictures. I'm pretty new to the whole trials riding and am still trying to find a decent bike but t'would be kool to ride with local people once i'm up and running and get some tips from you guys. That sound possible?
  6. I've used Brasso before and it works pretty well. It's sold EVERYWHERE, I think its pretty cheap and a tin lasts ages. So it's always there when more bolts start to rust - better than replacing every bolt on the bike as soon as they rust a little bit.
  7. Nice man, I wouldn't mind hearing the spec myself. How much you spent on her all together?
