  1. Hey I was just wondering whether anyone had any idea about installing a new cable between the slave cilinders on the back brake? I have looked on the internet and all I can find is that you just slowely hammer it in with a block of wood in the way. Although I have been trying this and all it seems to achieve is stretching the rubber in the cable. So could anyone give me some ideas on what to do? Also I have all the parts I need and also lots of spare cable so I am happy to try most things Thanks Edit : I am talking about attaching the 'Hydraulic Pipe Nipple' mainly
  2. Go for V8's ive been riding with them for about a year and no problems yet
  3. Its good though i agree that some of it could be better. I suggest sticking with the same colour for much of the text, maybe change the colours for headings and subheading etc. Also I suggest keeping with the same font for the text (at least on each page) as it can get confusing when the text keeps changing. Altogether I would say a good site which could be even better with a few modifications
  4. Hey Im wanting to upgrade my onza t-bird frame (doesn't need to be by to much) and im looking at new pretty cheap frames. At the moment im looking at the Monty 221 Pro frame for £140, are there any others which are better for the money? Also if I buy the monty frame will all my onza t-bird parts fit with it? Thanks
  5. Hey I am riding a onza t-bird 2002 at the moment and I am looking at getting a seat. My preferance is the monty saddle (the one with holes and gel) and I was wondering if there is anyway to attack it to my frame as I know the seatpost is the wrong size? Thanks
  6. I'm not sure about measurements but I have ridden both (2005 versions) and I found almost no differance except the brakes and the way the owners set them up. Although they may be some other differances I didn't notice.
  7. Sand the area you want sprayed with sand paper (no need to go to metal, just get the laquer off). Spray the area qith a few coats of primer. (Leave to dry after each coat) Once dry spray with a few coats of the paint. (Leave to dry after each coat) Once dry spray with a few coats of laquer. (Leave to dry after each coat) Also make sure you have enough paint, I didn't and ended up with lots of red spots (the primer was red) on a bike which was supposed to be pure black.
  8. Well my bike was quite a old one (2002 model). So it didnt come with hydrolic rim brakes so I upgraded them to hs33's. I have a friend who got a 2005 model and he found his grips ran out quite quickly so those may need replacing (although thats only a few pounds). Other than those nothing you should need replacing or upgrading for a while, though personally I am not to keen on the 2005 model as I found it quite short, but that is just personal preferance and many people prefer them relatively short whereas I prefer them pretty long. But still it is a great bike
  9. I find it pretty good, though I have had some trouble with the cranks, had to replace them but other then that, a great bike for its price.
  10. I've tried both and I have to say the only advantage ive found of stock was that it was much easier to ride around on. Although I wasnt strong enough to do anything on the stock when I tried it, but it looked like it could be almost as fun.
  11. What does everyone think of how the old 2002 t-mags ride? Also how long are these, are they longer or shorter than the old t-birds?
  12. The greenish T-mag from a few years back with red magura hs33's and koxx gold rims. Notice I go a lot on the looks rather than how good it really is (I dont feel the need for anything to good)
  13. I agree that you should learn trackstand first. I made the mistake of not learning it and no my balence is still terrible. But from then on I just suggest back hops and pedel kicks. I found drops a great way to learn as soon as I could backhop as it kept me interested. Thats just what I think, though I was trying to have as much fun as possible and not worry about getting good while I was learning.
