Hi, I would say the zona, i have 1 and its so nice to ride, dont worry about it being long, its super nice. The weight isnt a problem either, it feels light when your on the bike. Its worth picking nice componets for it though as changing the littlist things effects the way the bike rides. but zona would have my choice any and every day, i will never look back, well i will because my profile keeps blowing up poofile cheers wilky

Hi, Well i dont have a zoo, well i have a zona so pretty close, i run the echo stem and i love it to bits, i have had the onza one, and also been on bikes with zoo and monty, which i didnt like at all. i would say stick with your echo stem. cheers wilky

HI sam, welded deffo worth the extra little bit of money, and it is only a little bit, i would say get it from tartybikes as its an amazing shop. and as far as removing the old 1 goes, well it is worth getting the tool, but if you really dont wish to, it can be removed with out it, use the taps on the acs and hit them with a flat bladed screw driver, and it will undo in the end, its worth clamping it to a work bench. cheers wilky

Hi, Well for a smooth rim, i would say, either zoo pads or heatsink with the cnc backings. But i would reckemend that you get a grind, espically in this weather, and if you do get a grind, well i would say run either red heatsink with cnc backing or brown koxx blocks. cheers wilky
-
koxx brown on a nice harsh grind works a treat, reds also work well. Another choice might be the heatsink red pads on the cnc backings. tom tom has some there lovely. worth the cash. cheers wilky

well, as its normally chavs that say it, i say. SOME FCUKING CHAV, CHAVED IT grrrrrrr f**king hate chavs. then ride off, pretty quickly. But if its old people, i show them respect and say "na mate dont need 1, just gets in the way" WILKY
-
Well these chavs are having a great time, i have heard about a load of bikes beening stolen. Anyways, i know i can claim mine on house insurance if its locked up, worth giving them a ring. and yes before people ask, thats if its locked up anywere not just in my house. But deffo check ebay, and cash converters, and other places. cheers wilky.

wilky_mod_legend2 replied to bikerboysam1's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Yer i told si to get that brake, i have it its amazing deffo worth cash, i got mine for 60 on wiggle, might be cheaper, i think si got his though his work. cheers wilky -
Well, try taking cog off, and checkin both threads for pieces of cnc left in them, then put oil (3in1) on a rag nd go round threads so leaves a light coating of lube, then try again. Cheers wilky Should fix your problem.
-
Put a allen key in each side and losen the tight 1, then you SHOULD be able to free them both up. hope this helped Wilky.

Have you got a things for pro's???? You started a topic bragging that you huged phil williams. Hmmmmmmm but mine has to be.......... Prob cls as well, due to his excellent style, or porter just beacause i like his style. cheers Wilky! -
I had this problem ages ago, i thought it was my bearings, but check that the tabs on the acs are not rubbing on b/b shell. This happended to me even when i was running 127.5 b/b. Pulling apart freewheels is a pain to be honest, ACS arent pricey, might be worth just gettin a new one, or go PROFILE click click lol. cheers wilky

This is how i unbuckle my wheels. Stage 1 Turn bike upside down, and put somefign were seat WOULD be, and spin wheel, look at the pads and you will be able to see where the buckle is. Stage 2 Once you have found buckle, You will see that half the spokes are on 1 side of rim and the other half on the other side. So if the buckle is going to the right, tigten spokes on left, so it will pull wheel back into line. And if buckle goes other wise tigten spokes on the right.( turn a turn or half a turn at a time depending on how bad buckle is and how lose spoke is might have to turn it a load of times). Stage 3 Spin wheel and check if its done anyfing if not repeat, if it has done something look at the rest of wheel and make sure that it hasnt put buckles any were else. Stage 4 GO RIDE hope this helped cheers wilky dont think i missed anything out. Tools needed Spoke key

HI, I had same problem with my ronnie it died along with hub and freewheel. I am gettin hog, its wider which is nice. The only bad side is that it doesnt hold grinds as long as ronnie. And out of Viz or Echo. Well: I trust echo alot never had problems with any of my echo stuff yet. So its prob a nice and strong rim. But Viz had eyelets which will build a stronger wheels and comes in lots of colours, which will make your bike pimp! So i would say go for Viz. hope this wonderful adivise helped cheers wilky

Hi I think, control give trials style. If you have a flowing line with no control it will look rubish. Control and flow mixed together and variety of big and tech moves. But saying that every rider has there own personal style. So i could look at a million riders and pick somefing out of there riding style which i like. But control is the key! cheers wilky
